The rock being carried by the fae suddenly shook and shined a bright blue, revealing that it had, until a few moments ago, been the abode of a wisp who particularly enjoyed the constraints of stone. It made a sound like the chiming of bells and generally prepared to go along with what the fae had planned.

"Hmmm, so if what that veteran player said, I should be able to find a rare goblin out here....Man, I hope it isn't just a faaaaaaAAAAAGH!" The knight said, realizing their rear had been set aflame. Now in a normal game, they would just be taking damage. But since VR is at a pretty good state right now, and he didn't really read the settings, he felt his rear on hellfire.

The Knight charged forward, instinct forcing him to flee from pain, yet he could not escape the fire as it burned. He charged right into the slime that had spread itself on the ground, slipping and skidding before falling on his back, dealing 5 damage to the Slime (Five damage to Chewwy).

The knight hit's the ground hard, and is dazed as he tries to figure out what had happened, lying in the pool of slime.

The time was now as he flopped off the tree like a water drop dripping off a leaf. aiming directly at the fallen knights face making a big plop sound as the knights head sunk into the gelatinous body. the slim began to us it's stomach acid on his face as he simultaneously entered through the mouth. the objective was to suffocate the knight while eroding his skin away.

20/25 HP

The compact slime reaches from below to envelope and grapple the surprised and fallen hero in its forming grasp. The slime's expansive coverage whittles as it pulls itself together for depth and further influence, determined to be as much of a movement hindrance as it is a detriment to the hero's remaining HP through its slow digestive process.
"CHARGE!" It, no. He calls out to his oppressed companions.

The human immediately began to trash as it felt slime cover it's face and force itself down his throat, his hands going to the slime on his head and trying to tear it apart. He manages to do some damage, but is quickly panicking. (Blue takes 2 damage)

With combat officially starting, the player's health bar appeared abov ehis head. A total of fifty hp appeared, and his health was at 43, five damage from the imps fire ball and him losing health points from the fall.

A status condition appears on his health bar.

Suffocating: Can not speak or cast spells. Lose 2 hp per second

Blinded: Cannot see, target, or attack until able to see.

Grappled: Can not use menus or items until grapple is broken

Acidx2: Currently being damaged by acid, lose 6 hp per second

In short, things had gone south fast for the poor hero. He began to try and stand, still tearing at the slime on his face. however, the slime on the ground kept him from standing, sending the player into a frenzy of movement to try and figure out what the fuck?

Rita jumped down from the tree, walking towards the hunter, he was.... well suffocating.. He couldn't do a thing.. She kneeled down next to him, attempting to take his weapon from him, her hand resting softly on his shoulder as if she was here to help, ha, as if. It was to like.. keep him down.

The hero instantly grabbed Rita's arm, his grip near crushing. He was strong, likely dumped his stats into strength. His grip hurt, but he seemed to fall far the gentle touch for a little bit. But then he felt his sword being pulled from his scabbard, and him being held down. It was then the six foot hero seemed to truley go into a frenzy. He grabbed hold of as much slime as he could and began to tear chunks away rapidly. (5 damage to Dev)

The hero's health goes down to 35 points

The pull was pulled out from the sheath, and shined in the sun briefly before slamming to the ground. It was heavy, a claymore by comparison to the goblin's size. But the heft and sharpness was all the same, superior to any weapon any goblin could make. At least, any goblin in Greenwatch

"Ouch, there goes my spleen... if I had a spleen." bubbled the slime. for that, he began to tighten his grip around the humans head squeezing and causing a more acidic reaction from the pressure building up inside his body.

Karomaz, clearly enjoying himself, jauntily launches a plain old ranged attack at the torso of the poor hero. Deep down in his mind however, he wonders if his slimy acquaintances are flammable. Hmm, either way, despite the prospect seeming fun, Karomaz decides against setting his friends ablaze.

From above, Wa'alla the Wisp began to shake their stone form, trying to aim themselves to falling on the heroes head. When it had their trajectory just right, they forced themselves from the oppressive grip of their fae keeper and falling upon the human intruder.

Rita pulls up on the handle, stepping a foot over the hero and grasping at the sword by the cross handle and lifting it high as she could, looking down at the human, "Smile for the screenie!!!" she screeched hoping that the fluid motion down ward and the weight of the sword would help her stab it in to him, putting all her weight on the sword.

The enveloping slime lashes his partially enveloped captive!
Could they actually be doing it? Slaying a hero? Were they not given form, as weak monsters, for the purpose of being annihilated over and over? The haze obscuring the truth is to blown away with the conclusion of this fight! But how harsh and daunting could these future realizations be. Free will fits into the keyholes of many doors.

The slime looked at his counterpart as he appeared to be thinking elsewhere. at the moment he decided that this human isn't dying quick enough and needs to find a way of making it faster. he began to suck up dirt into his body as to add a sickening effect from the dirty... dirt. if nothing he hopped that the bugs within the soil would do something at least to spead up the process. he couldn't stay like this for long as the human was becoming more wild in his attempt to escape the slime's grip.

In a flash of attacks piled onto each other, fives points from the Imps fire, 8 from the slimes, 10 from the wisps rock, and 15 damage from the sword, it ended. In a flash of light, the hero disapeared and left behind a small bag filled with loot. Some gold, a couple potions, and various random crafting items he had picked up from his questing.

The monsters had done it. They had slain a hero. Almost immediately, a surge of power shot through every single one of them, as they all ascended to the next level.

All Slimes gain 5 hp, and +2 to their melee attack

Rita gains 5 hp and +1 to all her attacks

Wa'alla gains 5hp

Karomaz gains 5hp and +2 to his ranged attack.

[Chewwy's] slime can now either improve an existing ability, or gain a new one.

Available new abilities:

Solidify: Can harden one's self to increase physical damage resistance by 25%

Rita shivered, feeling the power shoot threw her it was a rush!! She killed a player! Well, she Helped kill a player. She pulled the sword up out of the grown looking it over with wide eyes, this was her's now. She put it away in to it's sheeth and smiled bright. She was strong!! She felt strong.

Though, Rita looked at the others, kneeling down and picking up the dead Hero's Loot bag. "Should we see what he has in here?" She asked them, it was only fair for they all did this together.

Hehehe. Eyeing the items and identifying the potion of haste and counting the 50 gold (via floaty text, of course), Karomaz said "I do have the monopoly on movement so haste is right up my digs." and he snatched it right up and into his inventory. Noticing the number of coins (50) and counting the number of players (5, not counting the glittery asshole) carefully, Karomaz divided them up in his head then took 9 coins. Teehee.

THE DEED IS DONE. THE KILL IS COMPLETE. The "hero" is gone. His free will is real.
The slime pops and snaps back into his default shape, just beyond his reach of the loot sack.
Free will is the key to many doors. Doors that close out rights and wrongs, moral obligations, and guilt and remorse and triumph in future decisions. Doors lead to a whole world beyond the reach of these fields. The world is full of clashing and interacting ideals. Open opportunities await him. Free will unlocks the decision of a name, a label symbolic of his individual being.
In an act to signify his elation, he vibrates and buzzes ecstactically!

The slime looked at its partner still having that overly triumphant emotion running through him but he did however felt something when he defeated the hero. was this the human concept of pride. none the less the slime was spared from the horrors of respawning with the group of beings around him. he returned to the prior thought at hand, what do I call myself. seeing his companions he wondered if he could speak out aloud as he had never really spoken due to lack of need for it. maybe he would utter his first word. he began by making a cylinder hole length wise through his body then he began to mimic the voice hole's movement he had seen on the other beings he had come across. "a, e, i, o, u, eo, l, elo?" he did it, he actually said something. "c, n, can, u, h, hea, r, hear, i?" his voice sounded raspy as it was just him forcing air through his body.

Wa'alla glows just a bit more brightly from within its rock as it celebrates with a mini-lightshow, "Good show, comrades! Jolly good show!" It sounded distant and echoed, yet still refined and somehow cultured. "We shall grow in power, and slay more of these belligerents! For the Queen!" With that, the wisp rose from the rock - a small ball of bright blue fire.

"Now, tally ho for now, I have a quick errand to run but rest assured I shall return in a right jiffy, mates! Please pay me the respect I justly deserve and do not follow me on this most sacred of objectives!"

With that, the eccentric arcane creature  went off towards the direction of a legendary pond, going in the direction the hero came from.

With a new sense of freedom now available to the whole group, the monsters could now could go wherever they wanted. One monster seemed ready to perform a ritual, and the rest were left to decide their own fates.

"Heehee" the imp laughed to himself. In Karomaz's opinion, respect is earned and Wa'alla didn't deserve any respect, let alone "justly" (whatever that means). Quietly, the imp flew behind the wisp silently holding back his snickering as much as possible.

Rita quickly emptied the bag, handing out what needed to be handed out, the group had agreed on what each should get. She her self was left with the crafting kit and sword. Going threw the kit she was faced with Six slime cores. It made her frown. Poor monsters. Kneeling down to the stab mark in the ground Rita began to dig, and dig, and dig, till she had a nice hole and buried one of them. She looked around in search of a flower, picking it and laying it up top the dirt pile, "Here lie a fellow monsters," She began, "May their sacrifice be remembered."
