You open your eyes, and the first thing you see are wrinkles and green. An Elder, your caretaker, is the first being you see and he speaks he first words you've ever heard. Your name echos in your mind, and it roots itself, a seed for your identity to form around. Then, darkness consumes you as you fall asleep. You are still young, still new, and need to rest. But you grow, and what would take years for a human, takes you and the rest of your generation mere days. There is no time to grow, the world is harsh and you are at the bottom of its hierarchy.
But something is different about your generation, something greater. Somehow you know, your fellow newborns will challenge this world, and do something your parents and their could not. Live. Win. Thrive.

Alrighty everyone. This is another game i wanted to run, something that sorta just formed rather quickly. It's open to everyone, so you can pop in and shit whenever as long as you follow the rules. And if you drop it, your character just dies and is eaten by either the creatures of the world or those of your generation. Survival of the fittest and all that.
You start out as a young goblin, born merely a couple of days ago and already large enough to hunt for yourself. Which is good, because that is your only chance to survive now. You will have to learn quickly, and succeed to survive, for the previous generation will not attempt to aide you. For generations, it's been quantity over quality in your clan. It's up to you to survive, and maybe if you're good enough, you'll manage to live for a time.
The game will work like this. You start out as a goblin, and you have to survive. Hunt for food, gather materials, learn, adapt, and improve. You are at the bottom of the food chain, so death is common. If you die, you will simply make a new character and start again. However, the longer you survive, and the more power and knowledge you gain, the better off the next generation will become.
Each time a character made, random traits can be given to them, determine by me and a dice roll. Things like an affinity for magic, higher then normal strength, speed, or sense, to even things such as other monster traits not seen in your race. These traits will be your edge, and help you.
After awhile, if you live long enough and accomplish enough, you can "level up" into a new form. Goblins become Hob goblins, who are much taller, stronger, faster, etc. From there, more forms become available, based on what you do and how you do them in your life.
It's up to you to survive, and your actions may lead to a great change for your clan, weather good or bad.
Below, Fill in the following app. It'll be a short one, but it'll grow as time goes on.
Fill in the app, pm it to me on the site or skype, and I'll work with you on things like your traits and such. keep in mind, it'll be random, in order to have some replayability. Don't be to attached to your characters, but don't forget to enjoy them. Death is part of the game, but it's never the end of it

Here's some references for what you can expect goblins to commonly look like. These references will grow as more forms become known to people.

Stand roughly the size of a grade schooler, goblins commonly have varying shades of green as their skin color. The possess the ability to see in the dark, and commonly males are bald while female shave short hair.

Appearance: Female average (being small already), Light green flesh covered in red splotches kinda like freckles along her cheeks, nose, shoulders, elbows, and knees. Short white hair pulled up to each side in low pig tails.
Personality: Hot headed, Likes to climb trees and is curious. Seeks to move forward and make sure she has what she needs to do such.
Trait: [Lesser Fire resistance] You take longer to burn, and heat affects you less.
[Enhanced Speed 2] You are far faster then a common goblin, in both speed and reaction time. while a goblin can run at about 7 mph, you can run at 12 mph.

Personality: quiet, tends to keep to themselves only when it doesn't concern them. cautious of things they doesn't know. tends to like sharp stones.

[Magical Sense]: You are able to sense magical aura up to a short distance away. You can use this to track or see magical energies.
Inventory: Colourful bat armour / +1 to damage reduction/ -1 to stealth.

Appearance: skinny but an apple taller than the average, malnourished, with a black Mohawk styled by stagnant lake slime and a mean looking face. he has a length of barbed wire in his teeth that troubles him.
Personality: a brute, thuggish, who has trouble expressing himself. he is also sadistic in a completely non sexual sense and he likes shiny things.
