Rita began to gain altitude as she climbed at a descent pace, leaving her companion to the mercy of fate. As she climbed, two more Noir wolves came to the base of the tree, and began to apparently plan a way to scale the tree or to get Rika to fall. It was surreal, to watch something other than a goblin plan.

Eventually, Rika reached the upper most branches that could hold her weight, any higher proving impossible with the thinner branches. From her vantage point, she was able to see over a majority of tree line. A decent distance away, she could see a large rock formation poking from the trees that had what appeared to be light from a campfire shining from it's base. If Rika remembered, it would be the location most likely to be the cave her clan called home. There was another fire though, which proved to be a little further but was downhill was another campfire, which from the smell in the wind carried cooked meat. Finally, she spotted another goblin in the trees, seeming to be the one her alerted the Noir wolves in the first place as he ran towards the home cave.

During this, Vike was keeping his advantage in the trees. A sudden branch he hadn't caught in his rush though smacked him in the face, sent him falling to one of the lower branches. Before he could hit the ground, a branch caught him in the gut and he was kept safe. However he was very close to the ground, and the Noir wolves were gaining on him, magic seeming to pour from their fur as they moved silently, their glowing eyes only giving them away thanks to the goblins natural night vision

She would have been distracted by the smell of cooked meat, but the stupid gob next to her really did win the battle. Inventing surely a new kind of stupid. She growled and tugged her hat on, moving down a few branches to get better grip on a thicker branch. She slips her hand in to her pocket and pulls out the small skull of the rabbit she had taken with her, chucking it at the wolves, "BACK OFF DUMMYS! THAT STUPID IS WITH ME! "

"Okay Vike, you're not thinking straight. This plan isn't going to work out." Said Vike as they rubbed their cheek which began to bruise. "First find a thick, steep tree then I can plan." Climbing a branch or two up to gain a safe distance from the ground. Vike would search for such a tree. If one wasn't found the hopefully the second best they could find would do. That was the Idea until they heard a troll yell. looking in the general direction they noticed yelling back at the growling wolfs going on about a dummy? "wait, is she referring to me?"

The skull shattered against the side of a wolf, making it yelp as the attack and the hunting party cease its movements. The Noir wolves are stared at the goblin female that was in the tree, and releasing a symphony of howls, charged to join their pack mates in trying to climb the tree.

Speaking of which, one of the wolves managed to charge upwards to the lowest branch, and seemed to be getting more and more accustomed to climbing the tree. His pack mate seemed to be learning by watching, as more wolves began to climb as well.

Yes, yes she was refereeing to him, but at the moment was in a slight panic, watching the pretties start to climb up, she gave a quick look around, choosing the closet tree before taking a deep breath. A leap of faith. She jumped out, letting go of the tree she was in completely and going for the next tree over. They needed to get out of here.

Vike had a thought, snapping a branch of the tree he began to rub the leaves increasingly hard on his colbat vest to get the scent off him, then after beginning to smell like a birch wood vomited on him he threw the branch away from the tree to lay low. hopefully, these predators hunt by smell and will stop following and trying to attack him. looking across to see what the other troll revealed that she isn't so fortunate as the noirwolfs were beginning to climb her tree. Vike was stumped on what to do to help her and he wishes that he didn't come out here tonight to try to help those in need.

Rika slammed into the branch of the tree, the air in her body escaping out as the branch smashed into her stomach. But she managed to hold on and climb to her feet. She was now in a completely different tree, and the Noir wolves seemed to notice but continue to climb the tree. They were moving with more and more confidence, meaning time was short before they took to the trees.

As for Vike, his plan seemed to work, though the wolves had already gone to chance Rita, so it was a matter that would require the Noir wolves to regain interest in the goblin.

Vikes plan worked only because the noir wolfs were chasing after the other goblin now. "What do I do, what do I do?" he whispered to himself as he can't communicate with the goblin without giving his position away again and he couldn't just leave here there could he? a thought came to mind, climbing to a branch that the goblin would be able to see him, he began to use body language to communicate with the goblin to try and get her to rub the tree leaves on her to disguise the scent. the wolfs were looking at the other tree that she was in and they had lost interest in him so hopefully the only thing that could fail was him not being able to get his point across with body language.

Rita did notice the other, giving him a weird look as she groaned, that hurt.. the dumb tree.. ow. But she cocked her head to the side then slowly caught on, snapping a branch from the tree and waving it at the other? Like that??? what? Rub? Wa? she soon rubbed the branch against her then looked towards teh other gob. Now what? she thought.. Now what?

Veek saw that his body language worked and began to direct her to stay low to the leaves and tree branches as he began to hug one himself. hopefully the wolfs won't figure out all this.
