Selene's adventure

"Thanks.. " Zack sighs as he sits up. He pushes of of the branch and does a rolling land, almost acing it. He pulls out his sword and sticks it into the floor. "I missed training yesterday since I fell asleep. I guess I can train later. " He says smiling.

Ayah smiled and jumped down landing on her knees and hands again. She was never any good at landings. "I hope you have a good time then." She says looking at the sword.

"Last time I trained I ended up on the floor with a sword stuck next to my face. It was pretty funny."Zack says as he sits down next to the sword stuck into the floor.

"How is that funny!?!?" She asked completely unaware of his sense of humor. She smiled though in a way it did sound funny but....kinda scary? But she brushed it off.

"Well I was being stupid so when it happened I laughed knowing that was what I got for being so stupid." He laughs.

Ayah laughs with him. It was funny. "It does sound funny." She says and smiles. "Do you think you're going to be able to seek out tonight?" She says wanting to make sure he could and if not she could help him.

"Yeah my grandpa lets me wander at night to clear my thoughts I'll meet up with you so don't worry. Zack says. He stands up and takes the sword out of the ground.

"Ok! Be in for a surprise, ok?" She says and stands. "Well I gotta go but see you tonight." She walks over to him and hugs him resting her chin on his shoulder for a minute and then pulled away. "And try to stay safe, ok?" She says softly and sweetly with a smile.

Zack nods and hugs back. Zack readies his sword and turns to the tree "Alright. I'll try to stay safe. I'm going to practice on this tree. Wait. Actually I'm going to go visit my cat.. " He sighs, putting the sword away and looks for a hole in the floor which contained a box with his kitten inside of it.

"Is it um...dead?" She asked thinking about her own long lost friend. It was a hawk that she had befriended and its name was Serena. "Because if it is than I can relate to you." She looked around needing to leave but not wanting to.

"Indeed it is. Well I'm off to adventure around. Bye Ayah. " He says with a smile. He slowly walks off to find the hole and piece of wood marking his kitten's grave.

Ayah walks away in the other way and sighed trying to remember the song she heard when she was younger and playing in the woods so she could play for Zack, but she sighed and started looking for berries.

Zack wandered through the forest, finding the block of wood that was stuck into the floor. He digs under the floor with the piece of wood and lifts the box out of the ground and opens the box, revealing an ice-cube with a kitten frozen inside of it. "Mittens.. I wish you were still alive. " he sighs.

~That night~ Ayah carried the heavier than usual backpack as she started toward their special place. She fixed the bag again and began running to get there quicker.

Zack sits at the shore of the lake with his sword stuck into the floor next to him. His eyes are fixated on the lake and how clear it is as he fades into a trance in which he is surrounded by the darkness but yet a warm glow surrounds him, getting closer and closer until it's right in his face.

Ayah still quite the ways away stops to breath she hated carrying more than what she needed but if it helped Zack she'd take the chance. After catching her breath she begins to walk to help her stay relaxed. "Hah...hah...hah..." She pants as she makes her way over the large rocks that kept her part of the woods away from the unknown and she lands on her feet actually lands and she smiles and keeps walking.

Zack continues to slip in and out of his trance, continuing to black out but still be awake began to make his head hurt. He didn't want to fall asleep at all and hoped to never do so again. Even if he thought that idea was stupid he still wanted it to be true.

When Ayah got there she put the large bag down by the tree and tackled Zack from behind. Smiling and giggling waiting for his reaction.

Zack snaps out of his trance and falls a bit forward. "Huh?" He asks in a hazy tone. He still has the trance like look in his eyes even though he snapped out of it. He thinks it might be the after affects.

"Yo Zack!" She says as sits next to Zack. She giggled and looks as face. "You look adorable when you're sleepy!" She says and pokes his cheek softly. She then stood up and grabbed her bag. She brought it back to Zack and poppled down the bag but carefully not to break her precious item.

"Why thank you friend.. " He sighs as he bites his lip, careful not to rip out his piercings. He lets out a small whine in pain, deciding that biting his lip wasn't a very good idea. "How are you on this strange night?"

"Hyper as high hell!!!" She says giggling and snorting a little. She covers her noise embarressed because of her snorting. "That is so embarressing...." Feeling like she could die, but she shakes her head. "Ok you want to see my surprise now?"

"Heh.. " Zack chuckles at her reply. "That was cute. and don't worry it's alright " He smiles. He tilts his head and peeks around to her bag. "What's the surprise friend?"

Ayah pulls out the large harp. It was her mother's and she was determined to become as perfect at it as her mother. The brown harp was large and bulky but beautiful, and the teal strings sparkled in the moonlight. She smiled and showed it to him.

"Whoa.. It's so cool. " He whispers as if millions were sleeping and if he were to be loud they'd all wake up. He smiles and stares at the beautiful harp.
