Selene's adventure

Ayah climmed over the large rock her boots making rough sounds. Her mind was clear, backpack on her bag, and crossbow in hand. She had left to find animals that her father, Lee, could skin and cook. She was very close to civilization and she kept her open to sounds.

Zack sits in his cabin, listening to his grandfather ramble about many things. At least he does so until some miracle occurs and he finally shuts up. He looks down at the chair that his grandpa was currently sitting- no sleeping in now.
" Meh, how weird. He was so excited to tell me his stories of the past and then he falls asleep telling me them. Heh, you are so silly grandpa. " He says quietly as he pats his head.

Ayah kept walking through the forest her red hair standing out against the browns and greens of the woods. She upon a cabin and was confused. "Lee always said we were the only ones who lived out this far..." Only Ayah didn't know how far she'd gone. All shew knew was that she wasn't somewhere fimilar.

Zack smiles and then puts on his jacket to go head outside. Before doing so he scribbles down a note to his grandpa stating: "Grandpa, I am going to go outside. I'll be back in about an hour. Don't worry I'll bring my sword you silly goose. -Zack He then grabs his rapier and then heads out the door, unaware about the things that might become of him.

Ayah hid behind a tree when the door to the cabin opened. She watched while setting her arrow ready in her crossbow if she needed it. She kept her eyes on the boy and watched closely.

He cautiously looked around and then shut the door behind him. He then straps his sword behind him and walks to a short looking tree. "I can so climb this. I'll show them.. " Then like a cat he gets a good hold on the tree and begins to climb, falling a few times but never giving up.

Ayah walks out behind the tree and watches the blonde climb and fall but seeing him get up each time made her wonder. "Hello?" She said in a soft voice hoping not to interrupt him.

His head tilts and then looks around from the middle of the tree to see a girl. "Oh.. Hello. " He responds, unsure if this girl was a friend or foe. For now he just thought of her as someone to get to know. He jumps down and sighs slightly.

She kept her loaded crossbow at herside and stuck out her hand for him to shake. "Hello." She repeats louder this time gaining courage.

Zack eyes her hand before taking it. " Hello. Nice to uh.. Meet you? He nervously smiles before explaining himself. "Yeah.. I was trying to climb that tree since my friends could do it. I just had to do that better though. Like a competition y'know."

Ayah nods understanding what he meant. She put her crossbow down by the tree and she started climbing it easily. "Come on. I'll show you how to do it faster and better." Ayah waited to her his reply and so she would not fall off she sat on one of the branches.

"Alright."He replies and unstraps his sword from his back. He then sets it by the tree to be lighter and his chance of falling will more than likely decrease by just a little. He cracks his knuckles before getting ready to climb again.

Ayah swings her legs while sitting on the branch her hair moving lightly because of the wind. She smiles watching the unknown boy crack his knuckles.

Zack gets a hold on the tree and begins to climb again. Slowly but without falling, he finally makes it up to the top. "Yay I made it. But not as fast as I wanted to." he sighs.

"You should start slow, as you speed up your hands will bleed when you climb because your forcing yourself." She says knowing too well her hands are scarred from all those times she climbed.

"Hmm. I will keep that in mind. Next time I'll probably bring gloves of some sort. My grandpa would freak if he saw I was bleeding." Zack nods as well in response.

Ayah smiled and jumped down from her branch landing on her hands and knees. She'd patch up her knees later. I wouldn't be a problem for her.

Zack springs from the tree and does a slightly failed flip before slamming onto his back from the tree. "Ouch." he mumbles.

Ayah laughed happily. "Are you always a show off? Or are you only one when your around a girl?" She asks as she stands up firmly.

"Meh I'm just like that. I think I am at least." He carefully stands up, making sure not to put himself through anymore pain.

Ayah nods and smiles. "So you live alllllll the way out here in the woods? Thats really odd because that means I'm not that far from your cabin right?"

Indeed so. I live just over there. He says as he points at the cabin little distance away form the current spot he was standing on.

Ayah nodded and sighed then picked up her crossbow it accidently aiming near the boy's side. She looked away, turning around her crossbow aiming somewhere in the woods. She kept her crossbow pointed waiting.

"Hey uh.. What's your name? I'm Zack but you can call me Zacky if you'd like." He smiles and picks up his sword, strapping it to his back again.

"I'm Ayah." She said turning back to him. The deer she thought she heard was nothing but a rabbit in the woods. "Its was nice to meet you." She said smiling.
