The Paradise (Session Recruitment.)

Hi! Starting a session.

Come one, come all. No limits, no extents. I'm prepared to handle anyone that shows up to the party. All inclusive, ambitious plot.

Any species. Preferably well thought out characters, but I don't really have any guidelines or stipulations to turn anyone away.

Still working on the plot, and I'd rather not wheel it out until I'm certain that it's ready. Until thin, feel free to dog-pile in.

Let me take a little bit to fully map out the locations, objectives, and villains, and then we'll be all set. Plus, I want anyone who wants to get in to have a chance. :3

Nope. It's a sburb/sgrub session with a very specific purpose/endgame. Lemme go get my laptop. I have my notes and a synopsis written down there.

THERE WE GO. Got my notes and stuff, so I'm ready to explain the plot.

To put it simply, life sucks on the world that our stories trolls inhabit. Highbloods are forced into strict training for military and leadership services that boarder on slavery, midbloods are given specific, arduous tasks, and lowbloods are sent offworld for grim, mindbreaking, manual labor.

The specific group of trolls longs desperately for a way out, and they find one. A file containing Sgrub is sent to them, and they're told that within the game is the key to paradise. Thinking that it's just a game, they boot it up, and trigger the destruction of their world.

Some of these trolls are also given the means to contact a small pocket universe, containing the humans of the story. The humans are unwittingly sent the game, and despite warnings that their world could be endangered by playing the game, they boot it up as well, and enter the game.

After playing through their individual planets, they find a totally null Skaia, and are tasked with searching their worlds for parts of a Key, each held by their Denizen. Braving each Denizen, they manage to assemble the key, and enter Yaldaboth's lair, where he offers them a choice.

The choice is simple. Create a universe that is a paradise of unlimited joy and potential, or return home.

It'll be a vote. Every character gets equal say.

No matter the choice they make, the consequences of the group's struggle will culminate in a fierce skirmish for the universe's freedom, or destruction, as they're being manipulated and watched, and though their malefactor's influence is clumsy, it refuses to be denied.

Not a perfect plot, because my grasp of the Homestuck universe is still improving, so feel free to offer suggestions, ideas, corrections, and other helpful stuff.

We still have the opening right?

There will be an opening, but the story, ideally, presumes that the characters within (specifically the trolls) already have knowledge of each-other, and have been friends for a decent amount of time. This is why I kinda wanna wait, and have a bit of a meet and greet. Get to know eachother's characters, and have a clear idea who is participating before it goes too far. That way, the trolls know eachother, and the kids know eachother.

I'd like to take, maybe, a day for people to come in, learn about each-other's OCs, and THEN begin, if that isn't too much trouble. But, in the meantime, it'd be cool to individually introduce OCs, so a soft launch of the story would be cool. :3

I'll definitely want to play with that kickass plot, but I think I'll get a new character rolling for this one instead of using Tea for them all!

Aw. I like Tea. However, I also like new stuff, so have at it. :]

Hmmmmmm...

You could roll as one human and one troll, in which case I'd suggest taking Dally and the Yellowblood, but if you had to choose only one, I'd say pick Dally.
