after a quick cookie break sara gets up and wanders her house holding her violin like a club she gets back to her room to see aqua Geist sprite with a little pile of stuff on your bed you keep your distance and go to your computer and pester your client

BS: ok im in to now just had a run in with the weird water monsters with part of their face missing any monsters by you

You collect the small amount of grist that the imp dropped, quite satisfied with your recent success, albeit a bit more alarmed now that you are aware of the monsters lurking around your home. You don't think that you'll be getting much sleep anytime soon, that's for sure. Also, now that you think about it, something does seem incredible odd, you feel as if you are slightly less heavy for some reason. You suppose that it is nothing more than relief.

You also begin to wonder where your father has gone, you haven't seen him since the moment you entered this game. You hope he's alright...

A somewhat old, powerful looking man explores the odd land he has somehow been brought to, quickly realizing that gravity is less influential in this area, thus allowing him to jump great distances as if they were nothing. He has left his only sun to fend for himself in his home, he is sure that he can handle himself without anyone around to help him, he trust that he knows what he is doing. Although, the last time he was left alone a meteorite was about to strike at his home, so he can't be all that certain.

He ventures through the land rather quickly considering the circumstances and quickly finds some monsters who have wide grins on their faces for some reason, they are dispatched without much effort on your part. They oddly drop several odd shapes and gems, this world is starting to both irritate and confuse him rather quickly.

Evan proceeds to successfully hit the baseball through his window, an oddly coloured meteor was actually aiming towards his meteor at that present moment...

An amber dimmed light generated around the meteor where his entry item had hit... It was almost blinding; the butler had actually changed the track to something morefitting. You feel a warm sensation filling your body, almost of success... You are blown back eventually by a second force of energy... It almost battled the meteor... It was very distracting... As this happened the entire house was suddenly teleported into...

KD: Ah.
KD: Alright then.
KD: I suppose that means I must destroy more of those monsters.
KD: I hope it does not prove to be very difficult.

You guess you should get started on killing those monsters, you wonder what you'll be able to do with such a machine? Maybe it'll be able to help you fight monsters more effectively? Even if it does sound a bit unlikely, you sure do hope this is the case, there are most likely more creatures similar to the one you just saw lurking around the home. Speaking of which, you seem to hear quite a ruckus going on downstairs, undoubtedly more of those odd creatures.

==> Investigate.

You leave the confines of your room and look down at the living room below you, there are more creatures down there, about three if you are correct. But they seem to be different from the one you just saw before, some of them have large chunks missing from their heads, somethings tells you that you can't just charge in there and kill everyone. No you will have to go about it in a manner that is a bit more stealthy.

==> Lure one of them out.

You create a noticeable sound by pounding your fist against the wall, in order to attract the attention of the creatures below. The noise coming from downstairs suddenly stops, and you back away a little and wait for one of them to come by to see what all the racket is about.

==> Wait silently.

After waiting for a couple of seconds one of them, with a large chunk of it's head already gone, comes walking up the stairs and you lunge at it, taking the thing by surprise. You manage to get a few hits in before it attempts to retreat and inform it's allies of what is happening.

==> Strike at it faster!

The monster is visible to it's peers and you execute it right before their eyes, and take the build grist that it left behind, along with some odd, purple looking gems that you collect immediately, you are really starting to get used to this. The other two monsters rush over to your location, obviously alarmed by the recent killing of their associate. So much for stealth, it appears as if you'll have to take two of them on at the same time.

==> Take a defensive stance.

You take a page out of the first monster's book and take a defensive stance, readying yourself to counter their attacks, this shouldn't be as hard as before. One of the creatures with a large bloody smile on it's face, attacks you with what seems to be a guitar, swinging it fiercely and powerfully. You auto parry and dodge the creatures attack, and stab it rapidly with your knife killing it much more quickly than the others.

==> Finish the last one.

The last one seems to have a nervous and also angry expression on it's face, with it's guitar in hand it swings at you hitting you on your head taking a bit more of your health from you. You decide that enough is enough and finish it off by aiming at it's neck and slashing at it twice, ending it's existence. Both of them seem to have had dropped some more grist and more of those purple objects that you've seen before.

==> Reap the spoils.

You take your rewards from them, leaving you with 50 build grist and 20 of those other objects, which appear to be called "shale" you sure are progressing through this game at a relatively steady pace!

==> Go up echeladder.

You gain the "ENTHUSIASTIC TOT" rung of your echeladder and get a blue bandana for your success, along with much more space to hold larger amounts of grist.

You examine the newly placed machine, it seems to have a keyboard connected to it for some reason, you aren't quite sure of what function it serves. There also appears to be an illustration on it, showing that in order to use it, you must first insert a card inside of it.

The card has some sort of code behind it, presumably the same one needed to use the machine, you never really payed much mind to this sort of thing to notice that they have codes. You wonder how these cards even work, you never really understood how it was that they were able to make these things, you have a feeling that if you tried to make sense of these things, it would probably just end up making you confused.

You enter the code for the card and receive a new punched card, similar to the punch card that you used in order to enter the game. It now dawns upon you that, for the most part, these cards have served as a pretty abstract inventory system, which you never actually got to physically interact with very often, go figure...

==> Retrieve the item from the card.

You seem to be unable to retrieve the knife from the card, thus rendering it to be completely useless. What a waste of a perfectly good card. Although, you might be going about this the wrong way, maybe you just need to find a way to use them in this state, after all, it wouldn't make much sense for a machine to exist for the sole purpose of ruining cards. Perhaps you should consider entering a code from a card that you have in your sylladex, which contains your old phone which has a sort clam-shell like design, it's not as if you actually use it all that often anyways.

You enter the code and are now left with only one empty card, which you are using with your array Fetch Modus, which might seem a bit mundane to others, but it really cuts down on a lot of the bull-shit other Modi commonly cause.
