Did that Bro just bump into me? (Lily, Paul)

Lily had been walking, her board at hand. She loved boarding the most when there were lots of people, she could so them to work on her graceful movements. Of course with her they weren't that graceful, they just looked like huge, ugly, jerks. When she had jumped onto the board she quickly barraled down the sidewalk, picking up speed everytime she went over a few feet. Her foot then slipped and she went flying, only to bump into someone. She really felt stupid now. "Yo, I'm totally sorry dude. Oh my god, I just feel so bad now!" Lily said, she stayed where lie, not really paying attention to anyone but the person she bumped into.

Paul was, surprised, to say the least. It's not everyday someone flies out of no where and crashes into you. 'Oh it's alright' Paul said in Sign language. Hopefully she'd understand it, but if not he always had his note pad.

Lily was almost panicking now. She couldn't tell what he had signed but guessed, she stood up brushing herself off, putting her hand out for the boy. She really hoped her wasn't mad, that is why she put out her hand, so she could help him up. She wanted to be nice, so she tried hard with a smile.

Taking the girl's hand, Paul got out his note pad and scribbled," Don't worry, I'm fine. I'm not mad, if that's what your'e wondering. I get tackled by my Sister everyday anyway." He brushed himself off, retreived his things, and wrote," I'm Paul. What's your name?".

Lily looked at the paper, So he's mute? Oh god I feel terrible now... Lily felt really bad and looked at him. She tried thinking about what her sister taught her. She put her hands infront of her face and started signing as best as she could. Making out the words 'Its butt.' She panicked knowing she screwed up some where but wasn't sure so she tried again fixing it by signing 'You sure its okay?' She wasn't that great but she kinda just guessed it was right.

'It's Fine.' Paul wrote back, a smile on his face.

Lily smiled she was relieved. "Oh good, I thought I was gonna be in bed trouble." She said rubbing the back of her neck, god she felt stupid. "So you know I feel REALLY bad about hitting you, so yeah...I'm sorry." She was still nervous, he was a rather good looking guy, but she was pretty scared about what might happen to herself because she hit him.

'Please don't feel bad, accidents happen after all.' Paul wrote. He really didn't want this beautiful girl to feel bad. She shouldn't have to. 'Come on, we are human.'

"Oh, okay, I wasn't too sure about it. I'm Lily by the way!" Lily said and felt odd. She just didn't think she would run into someone like that. It was her fault, god she needed to be more careful!

'It's nice to meet you Lily. My name is Paul.' He scribbled.

Lily smiled. Well he seemed nice enough and not bitter, so maybe they could hang out, that is of he liked doing things she liked. "So, what were you going to do before I ran you over?" She asked rubbing the back of her neck.

'Well,' Paul dotted on the paper,'I was going to get some more spray can for my latest project.' He had been thinking of doing somthing happy and up-lifting, with many bright colors and an image of peace.

"Well I think my sister has some spray paint...I don't know what colors but I'm sure she won't mind." She said tapping her finger on her chin, though knowing her sister might have used it she didn't mind going and checking. After all she did owe the guy after running him over.

'Ah! That's fine. I'm sure I can improvise.' Paul etched onto the paper.

Lily nodded. "Well come on." She said and started walking off, her house wasn't that far away really about a couple feet and then they go up 7 flights of stairs and then they would be there.

Paul proceeded to follow Lilly up the flights of stairs.

Lily knocked on the door hard, waiting for it to open, but after a few seconds she pulled out her key and pushed it into the hole. She opened the door and looked around. "Sis, I'm home! I have a friend with me, don't worry I won't make out with him!" Not hearing the playful banter from the woman who looked like her she knew she wasn't home. So she walked toward to woman's room. "Follow me slowpoke."

Paul proceeded to follow Lily into her home. He was still thinking of what the mural should be.

She shuffled around a large bin. "Do you think, blues, greens, yellows, oranges, reds, and pinks would help?" Lily asked putting each can next to each other in a perfect arch, like a rainbow of different shades and hues.

Paul re-opened his note pad. 'Well, colors such as Red, Orange, and Yellow are considered warm, but I'm not sure if I'll need any other colors, so..', he jotted down,'Would it be okay if I took them all? I'm sorry if I sound like I'm asking alot, but I just get this uplifting feeling knowing that someone will look at this peice and cheer up, you know?' He wrote.'But if you don't, I understand.' He said with an UNDERSTANDING SMILE.

"I understand, I'm not sure how my sister will act but I'm sure that she really won't care." Lily said motioning to the spraycans. She wouldn't really mind doing that and taking the blame for it dissapearing.

'Well, I should ask her first. I wouldn't like to take it without the Green light.' Paul wrote. 'I just don't feel comfortable taking it without being safe.'

"Aight, we can make that happen. If you come over tomorrow I'll have her tell you its okay, you can just smile, wave and act pretty." She said sticking them back into the bin, it was big and black. "Plus you can bring your green light!"

'Okay. I'll come at around this time.' Paul wrote. He headed for the door, but he turned around and scribbled,'And nice joke by the way!'. He turned and left chuckling.

She smiled and waved. "Thanks for noticing it! It takes everyone to get those jokes!" She said happily and joked even more.
