Sonara Nurkai looked around her respiteblock, desperately searching for something to alleviate her boredom. Seeing that nothing evoked even her slightest interest, she let out a sigh of exasperation and sat down. There's gotta be something fun I can do today, right? She asked herself, trying to muster up an idea. Sonara thought for a little while - and then the idea came to her! Almost immediately, she jumped up and ran to her husktop. She was going to play a new game called SGRUB that she had heard about with her friends!

Taston Dextet had been busy in his hive staring out the window of his respiteblock at a tied up pile of food that was hanging from one of the many branch like rocks jutting outwards from the volcano his hive was situated below. He briefly wondered a loud how the fuck his Lusus managed to do that, that was going to be an absolute bitch trying to get down. You notice that someone has messaged you on your husktop, sighing and walking over to it,

Meanwhile, Sonara briefly minimized the Trollian chat client. She downloaded the SGRUB game files onto her husktop, looked around the file folders for a bit, and then went back to the chat program.

He decides to have the files download in the background while waiting for her to reply, not really particularly adept at anything computer related. He pulls back up once she replied,

Sonara checked to see if the SGRUB client had finished downloading, and sure enough, it had. Excitedly, she double clicked the game icon and the game's main menu appeared. A window popped up, asking her to make a server connection. She typed in Taston's handle and a viewport showed up, showing him in his respiteblock.

AA: HMM, WELL +HIS IS QUI+E WEIRD! I+S JUS+ SHOWING YOU @ND... @ BUNCH OF CON+ROLS @+ +HE +OP?
AA: I WONDER WH@+ +HE CON+ROLS DO...

Taston's room was a rather tiny and cramped room, the floor and walls littered with little pieces of paper. Taston shrugs at her question as to what to do,

PA: Let's investigate then. Just use whatever control looks like it goes first.

He stands up and walks to the centre of his room to give her a better view of himself. He looks around and shrugged, waiting for her to use one of the controls

Thrisi Troika adds the last ingredient to her mix before popping the whole thing in the oven and setting the timer. After tidying up the kitchen a bit she wipes her hands and returns to her room. Apparently a couple of trolls have been chatting in her absence about playing a game. It looked like they needed more players, she decided to ask if she can join.

Iskard Fidoré has finished reading yet another Linux manual, this time for the Trilby distro, produced by Blue Hat.
He is faced with the dilemma that is his unfathomable boredom. Sauntering over to his husktop, he deposits himself upon his smooth beangrub receptacle ((beanbag chair)), and logs into Trollian. He notices that his "friend" has bugged him about something. At least his persistence will act as a quiet distraction from the contemplation of boredom and the implications it yields to one's subconscious thinkpan...

After a couple minutes of waiting Markus looks at his computer again. Oh wow, he responded for once. Usually he never responds because he's busy reading some silly Linux manuals. Upon reviewing his response, Markus decides to poke the others about it.

Sonara looked around the menu for a bit and decided to check out the purple arrow button, which she assumed was to select things. She clicked on one of the pieces of paper in Taston's room and and accidentally ended up throwing it at him.

After seeing his moirail's message, Markus decides to attempt to obtain the game for both of them. Judging by AA's response to his previous poking, Markus assumes that she has a copy of Sgrub. He decides to dubiously torrent it from her computer to his. Hopefully this doesn't cause any issues... unfortunately, he discovers that she only has the client version. He decides to copy the files and send them to Iskard as well.

Sonara opened up the Phernalia Registry, which appeared to be a menu displaying all of the items she could place. Placing an item required a good amount of in-game currency called "Build Grist", but there were a few items that were free. She decided to deploy the Totem Lathe even though she ~~didn't have a fucking clue~~ had no idea what it was supposed to do.

After messing around a little more with the registry, she deployed two other freebies, placing the Alchemiter in the corner of Taston's room. Short on accuracy, she also ended up inconveniently dropping the Cruxtruder adjacent to his door, now blocking the way out of his respiteblock.

Welp. That could have been done better.
