Alder's Character Development Thread

As stated above, I will be using this thread to develop my characters in different ways. I will write about their futures, past, and will even take requests as to what you guys want to learn about them! Now for the first story.

Characters: Lambda! Liam, Angel JuJu, Achilles, and Achaenia.

Your name is Liam Bennet. You are in some room of a large, mechanical tower.

You've just made a deal with your denizen, Thanatos. Your soul has been stuck inside the dark half of what appears to be an angel doll. For some reason, you feel excruciating pain going through you at the moment. Is this the price you had to pay? The god of death himself can't give you an easy death?

You want to scream, but you find that it is impossible for you to do so. A voice can be heard in your mind, "YOUR PLANET HAS BEEN GUARANTEED SAFETY FROM THOSE CORRUPTED BY APEP, AND THE MONSTER HIMSELF. HOWEVER, YOU MUST NOW CHOOSE WHEN TO ACTIVATE THIS PROTECTION. I HAVE GIVEN YOU THE POWER TO SEE EVERYWHERE IN YOUR LAND, TO ASSIST YOU WITH YOUR JUDGMENT. BUT MAKE NO MISTAKE, YOU MAY NEVER RETURN TO THAT VERSION OF IT. YOU HAVE BEEN FOREVER EXILED FROM THAT TIME. INSTEAD, YOU ARE NOW BACK TO YOUR PLANET, THE ONE THAT HAS BEEN IGNORED, DUE TO THE EFFECTS OF A RESET. FAREWELL, PAGE. YOU WILL NEVER HEAR FROM ME AGAIN."

You feel a great rage course through you, but it quickly subsides. This is for the best, isn't it? If you hadn't done it, you would have remained useless for the rest of your life.

You see a large, striped green and red egg. An unknown amount of time passes by, the pain still isn't gone. The egg hatches. A snake like creature with a green and red eye emerged from it. Every now and then, some sort of stardust appeared. The creatures eat it. They must need it to survive.

More time passes, the pain doesn't stop.

The snake has now grown into a green skeleton creature, the swirls on its cheeks now change after they go to sleep in what they now refer to as a "SARSWAPAGUS", they've picked out names for themselves. Achilles for the green swirled one, Achaenia for the red swirled one.

Nothing has changed on the Land of End and Judgment. You begin to suspect that time works very differently here.

Achilles and Achaenia, both find interests of their own. Achilles seems to be very gullible, Achaenia is constantly feeding him lies. Their personalities are completely different, but they both seem to enjoy your company. You like it this way, it distracts you from the pain.

The white side of your body is filled, you refuse to go into detail about who it is, but it has a great deal of power. You are frightened by it.

It might harm your children.

You realize that your power is not limited to only this planet. You can see everywhere, you can see every alternative time-line. You are omniscient. Your other half is omnipotent.

You now realize that you can skip ahead to a time when the plan the two guests on your planet has been finished. You've long since stopped caring about that, but you close it anyway. No one is allowed on that planet anymore. You could do the same to others in different time-lines, yet choose not to, what do you care about the others? It seems pointless.

Now, the only thing you need to care about are your two children.

Characters: Chat box! Liam.

Liam is walking down a spiraling path, several crow souls could be heard flying in the air. The path would lead him far down into the planet, but also to his quest bed. He had finally become resolved to ascend, even if it meant that he would have to do the job on his own. He was sweating, his palms were wet, and he appeared to be forcing himself to move onward.

Nonetheless, he pressed on, he had been given quite some time to think about this, he was confident that he needed to do this. He began forcing himself to walk faster, he knew that this was the only way he could reach his full potential, even if he had been able to get this far without it, he was aware that it was because of dumb luck.

He squeezed his robotic arm into a fist. Once he ascended, he could get a real arm back. The same could be said for his robotic leg, they had both served him well. Would his new ones be as strong? A large MANGRIT boost was to be expected, after all, he was to become a god.

At the end of the path, there it was, his quest bed. Although, it was more of a slab of rock than an actual bed. It was a dark shade of green, the doom symbol was in the middle of it. Several light green pillar-like objects were at its four corners.

He sat on the bed,  slowly laying down on his back. This reminds him of when he was assisting his friend with ascension. Jack, that was his name. Helping him was one of his biggest regrets, his father had been killed because of him. To this day, a wave of guilt hits him when he thinks of it. Even worse, the boy is still alive. Not that he knows that.

The problem now was, well, finding out how to do it. Would he use his mechanical arm to off himself? A fraymotif? Or perhaps his luck would cause someone to do the job for him?

No. That would completely defeat the purpose of doing this. No more would he be referred to as "the useless one", the very thought made his blood boil! Liam raised his arm to his throat and began to squeeze tightly, but he quickly stopped it, the pain it caused him was immense. He was certain he had just left himself with no ability to speak. All of a sudden he felt like a massive hypocrite, he had warned a friend of his against self-harm. Yet here he was, planning to kill himself.

But he could not stop now! Maybe now was the time to really begin to use his potential as a Page of Doom. He closed his eyes, he was determined to die now. This was something that he NEEDED to do!

He began concentrating on drawing out the small power that he had, focusing on bringing about his own demise. Slowly, he felt his body rotting, but he refused to stop. The rotting was getting faster, all of his limbs were useless now, they all looked as if they belonged to a dead person. Even his robotic limbs were useless, his entire body was decaying.

His heart was racing, this was the point of no return. His heart began beating slower, and slower, and slower...it had stopped. His entire body was rotten now, aside from the attire, you could hardly tell it was him anymore.

Darkness shrouded him, he could not feel the moths covering him, nor could he feel his damaged beyond repair body rising slightly into the air, only to then fall back onto the slab.

He opened his eyes, he was flying high above the sky. He felt...powerful, not only physically, but mentally as well. And he also felt a bit...happy?

He had done it, he had done what even the idiotic Jack had been unable to do on his own. He ascended...
