Asthma?

Hmm. Okay. It depends on your interpretation. If you want to know my interpretation, Princes start out with a lot of their aspect, which they proceed to destroy. Examine: Dirk and his splintering (so many selves, so much Heart). Eridan and his desperate attempts to fill quadrants (but all his Hopes were dashed.)

To hell with Kurloz.

But your interpretation is equally valid. Princes can also be said to be in the process of destroying their aspect at the beginning of an adventure. That makes sense. Eridan is hopeless, Dirk can be tentatively referred to as without emotion, although I'd disagree with that!

Anyway, I think asthma is generally a pretty interesting way of interpreting the Prince of Breath! I might have interpreted it differently, but I say "interpretation" for a reason. Nothing can be known for sure. It's just guessing and overanalyzing what doesn't need to be overanalyzed, I think. But I guess I don't care. I enjoy it.

How is Silan in relation to more abstract facets of Breath as understood by most, would you say? As in freedom and independence and redirection and movement? Just wondering.
