Fan race price.

What do you guys think is a fair price for a fan race? I was thinking first one is free, and then 1000 for each next one. I was also thinking of putting in a "bribe" system. The way that works is for 1500 points you can make a race that overlaps, for example demons would normally overlap too much with trolls. But for that extra 500 you can swing it. No bribes on the free one though.

Something like this may end up being done for the fan classes and aspects if it works, but for a much lower price. I was thinking like 100 boons for those, just so that people would have to be around the site for more than a day before making them.

If all this gets set in stone, I am going to also fix my money amount and apply these same rules to myself, but I wanted to get imput before doing anything.

I think this is actually pretty good. Also, if anyone finishes a session (whaaaaa) and creates a universe, maybe a free race, made by the players together? I dunno, just food for though xD

I like Glag's suggestion but no one has actually completed a Session before...

What if we had a bi-monthly month long "Event" where every member is allowed to pitch into the Sandbox Session and reach the end (Good or Bad).

That would require a lot of organization though.

But on terms of prices for races, it is a wondrous idea, as I LOVE LOVE LOVE creating races, and if creating races means more posts need to be made, it will be a wondrous motivator for me to do so. I don't like the idea of purposely allowing people to make similar races, to me that flies in the face of what creating a race is supposed to be about.

1000 for a second race sounds good, but perhaps it could have additional pricing for each consecutive race? First time is free, second time is 1000, third time is 2000, fourth is 3000, etc., and possibly with a cap of three since after that is a little ridiculous.

I also like the idea of pricing custom class/aspects.

I like Glag's idea. But on another note, 1000 seems like a fair price to pay.

I think it's boon dollars, but i would love this cause i didn't know i was stuck with only one race in the beginning XD

The point system (Now known as "Boondollars") has always been on this forum when 'pets' were put into place. There was also a point system lottery. Which happened every week. But as the interests grew an all time low. Nothing became of it. As real life stuff caught peoples attentions away from the forum. Thus it had to be shelved away when only 'One' person won it.

And yes it is a new system. Which works along side the boondollars point system.

Seems folks are conducive to it. I shall implement it.
