Hey, look. I made a post.

A'ight.  Me bein' here?  Short version is I showed up.

Slightly less short version is that instead of trying to make my own forum for homestuck RP I just figured this one was worth a shot.  Mostly because it seems to be one of the few still alive and throbbing, but hey, there's always msparp.

'Nuff about that.  You probably care about me and the things wot I make happen.

I'm actually a pretty avid writer, all told.  I've made a couple of not-terribly-noteworthy forum adventures (Planetlocked and Cyclestuck)  on the MSPA forums, I've wandered around most of the RP mediums homestuck seems to congregate around, and I've been doing both forum and chat RP for no short amount of time.  I'd like to pretend I'm good at it, and sometimes other people agree.  Still, that's really up to the eyes of whoever beholds the silly mess I slam out on a keyboard.

Other'n that, I have a brace of fantrolls and fankids lying around haphazardly, some of which I don't feel like killing off too hastily, and I sometimes play Karkat, Rose, Kanaya or Equius on spec whenever the mood strikes.  Mostly I troll about on chat sites at ungodly hours of the day, but I figure I may as well give forum stuff a shot, simply out of the hope that I play with cool people a little more reliably.

So yeah.  You guys got any sort of chat in place, or are communications usually kept in and around the forums?

So, how does one generally get started in and around here?

im not an expert on getting started, or a mod/admin, but i suggest using the introductions topic, then head onover to the OCs and submit one (or multiple)...also, do take care to get on the chat to get to know people

The first thing you should do is make an OC!

Just take the Template and drop it into one of the Submitting Areas. Please be careful when filling out the form, seems like every other person leaves a line of [b] down the side these days.

The ranking system here is based on troll horns, the higher up the horn the more forum responsibility.
The brightest, thats me and Dex, are admins.

I suggest looking over some approved apps if you want a feel for what we want.

Man, I got OCs fo' dayz. I'll go check that out and pop up an app or two probably later on in the day. Other'n that, I can help you guys set up a more stable and accessable chat option if you'd like. The chatbox seems to boot people out pretty readily.

It boots inactives, so its not really a problem to be honest.
