Ugh. Just look at it come down out there. What a rotten day.

It's been snowing for about two days straight. This has made it difficult to go outside, and one particular young man is starting to get a little stir-crazy. He has decided that today, of all days, is the day. Today is the day to do... whatever it is he wants to do.

But we haven't met this young man yet, and so we ask ourselves:

What is his name?

> Enter name.

Your name is Abel Smith.

That's really all there is to say on the matter.

==>

You stand in your room. You're ready to face the day. The only problem is...

What will you do?

> Abel: Listen to your stomach.

Oh. Right. You should probably eat something to calm down that growling. You head toward the kitchen.

> Abel: Eat something.

The kitchen is pretty messy, as per usual. You're fine with it like this, and your dad isn't home right now. He's away on a trip, which... actually he should be back today, right? Maybe you should clean up in here. On the other hand, with all this snow, maybe he'll be delayed. It could probably wait one more day.

You build yourself a sandwich and spend a few minutes watching snow fall.

You hate snow.

> Build sandwich.

Wait, no fuck that. You're having pudding for lunch. You take the pink bow out of your pocket and put it in your hair, because it feels like you need to do that right now.
You decide to take the leftover birthday cake out of the fridge, and set it on the marble countertop. Last night's festivities had been raucous but short, with no friends and little participation from your parental figure. Because that's how he rolls.

You cut yourself a slice of cake, but sort of just stare at it. You don't think you should eat it. You're sure as soon as that thing touches your tongue, you'll fall into a choking fit and possibly die. You aren't sure why you know, though. It just sometimes happens, without the dying part.

> Cut the rest of the cake up.

You slice it into small, manageable sections, fit for human consumption. The marshmallow frosting and red velvet body beacon to you, but you resist.

> Stop resisting.

Well...

>Stop resisting.

Alright.

You take a bite of your piece.
