new to the RP and Homestruck

Howdy everyone. Im new to homestruck and was very excited to find out about the large RP following it seems to have. Ive dabbled in RP for a time now and would love to join in on some awesome RP.

Being completely honest i haven't fully gotten through the Homestruck story, but i figured now was as good a time as ever to hop in to the forum and get to know some people as well as getting some direction.

Well ive just finished act 4. and im starting to understand quite a bit of whats going on. i guess I am more curious as to how the RP functions is it just a large gathering of OCs all in the same sburb session or is it broken down into smaller groups?

A break down of big or smaller OC session roleplayings, yes. But mostly some people tend to go for small and simple sessions when starting. Like, you can roleplay as canon if you so desire. But it appears on this forum. Its mostly OC orientated.

well thats good. I rather enjoy making up my own OC. is there a template/rules. and around when should i look to join in on sessions?

Most likely, yes, because you have yet to see that real shit going down. All the juicy powers, all the trolls and understanding why gamzee is scary as shit.

i have not heard of that actually. The name is derived from my actual name though. so no connection there.

Also thank you for all the info everyone. I think im going to try and gather a bit more knowledge on the subject before i hop in and RP. maybe ill check out a few sessions that are going on and see what its like. any good threads to send me to for that?
