You didn't really care too much about who you ended up being the client and server of. You just hoped it wouldn't lead to you losing at least a piece of one of your limbs. But of course, how likely was it that such a thing was going to happen at any point in your future? You suppose it would be far better than dying, but losing anything you actually needed attached to you would be more than just a little bit of an inconvenience.
