...Just kidding. I stumbled across your site while looking for a Homestuck roleplaying forum. I'm not new to roleplaying per se, but I could honestly use some work. Especially in regards to Homestuck. And msparp keeps having people's connections time out before anyone gets to say a single line of dialogue. Love the site, but it is a bit aggravating.

I hope to not be too much of a bother, and to grow in regards to my roleplaying skills. Meenah's one of my favorite characters, and I may play her one day. 38D

I too have been roleplaying for quite some time, but am relatively new to the site (as in, I've been here for like two months-ish). Things run differently here than they do in other places, and roleplaying canons at all is rare... which sucks, quite frankly. While I hold the Karkat position, I never really have the opportunity to use him, and he's my absolute favorite.

So having a bunch of OC's laying around is good, and they actually tend to be fun to make, play, and generally get attached to. I definitely urge you to make a few! I know Homestuck OC's generally get a bad name, especially fantrolls, but there are very few on this site that are really all that bad. It helps that the application process is fairly thorough.

I also urge you to get in the chat box and talk to some of the frequent users. The community is lovely here, though small, and it helps to know everyone and how they do things before you jump in!

Also, if you want to start roleplaying, my advice is to check the "plot ideas/looking for rp" section on the home page first, and join a session or two to get a feel for the style of the site. It definitely helps later on.

If you're used to the usual para-rp style, I have a roleplay called Mutated Alternia going on where you can roleplay any canon, if you'd like. It's an AU, but it's fun!
