When Daphny awoke the next day she panicked forgetting where she wad, then sr rembefed. She was at her matesprit's hive. She looked around looking for Ginnie. "Ginnie?" She wasn't sure what to do just sleeping there like that.

" Hmm? " The war-oriented troll hums in response. She has the grin of an idiot upon her face. " The old phoenix stopped throwing a fit. You hungry? " She ask, blinking a few times, showing she was a little tired, but not all that much.

Daphny nodded. "Yeah I'm starved." She said smiling at the other mutant, pretty happy about the current situation.

" Alright, I have a stash of marshmallows in my dresser. I got them and snuck them past my lusus a few weeks ago. " Ginnie says, walking to her dresser to get the bag of marshmallows out. When she returned to Daphny she gave her the bag.

Daphny smiled at Ginnie. "Thank you." Daphny nodded quickly opened the bag and handed a few marshmallows to Ginnie.

" You're welcome. " She says before eating the marshmallows she was given. Ginnie has a small smile on her face.

After eating a few more marshmallows Daphny set the bag down and stood up. "So Ginnie. If your mom isn't here, where is she?" She asked not wanting to step outside the room and get roasted.

" Probably on the roof sleeping. She is a sun bird so she gets her energy from the Alternian sun after throwing immense fits. " Ginnie says. Her mother was strange, always being a weird bird who harms everyone. She guessed it couldn't be helped since it was in her nature to burn things.

Daphny nodded. "Ah...well that's good. At least we can hang out with out being toasted." Daphny giggled and fixed her ponytail, pulling it tight.

" True.. Your lusus doesn't mind you're out of the house at the moment, right?" Ginnie asks. She would have to be careful if Daphny had to leave, knowing she would have to sneak past the firey guard of the house and make it past without getting burned.

"Oh, my mom? She doesn't really worry about me. I spend more time at my friends' house than I do at my own hive." She said patting Ginnie's back.

" Alright then. My favorite colour is dark grey and my eyes aren't really this colour. They are just contacts. " Ginnie says. She carefully takes the contacts out to reveal her bright light teal eyes.

"I just love them so much, my are just black...nothing special about them." She said still looking at Ginnie's eyes. Oh god they were pretty, they were gorgeous.

" I like your eyes though, they are unique and I never have really seen eyes like that before. " Ginnie says. She knew Daphny's blood must have been black. It was a very rare, but unique mutation in her eyes. She thought Daphny all together was unique and lovable.
