Toppling Trees [Non-Session, Boredom, Open] Empty Toppling Trees [Non-Session, Boredom, Open]

(I kinda went out of the loop on rp'ing for a little bit, and now that I'm focused again, most of the rp's going on are kinda full up or closed, so I'd hate to stick my head where it doesn't belong. And since Spacestuck is taking a while to update, if it will update that is which I hope it does, and until then, I'll probably start some non-session threads or maybe start a new session. Whatevs.)

Charon was embarking upon a new project. He wanted to construct something bigger than his current steam-powered, house boat. Granted, he knew that something bigger than his house boat would have a hard time getting down the river his hive was situated on, but it was just something he wanted to do. It had been a few sweeps since he had last built a new boat, and now he was feeling like one-upping his largest creation.

Now, many of Charon's boats, at first, were salvaged from wrecks along the coastline, and took him a little bit of time fixing them up when he was younger. Now that he had grown up a bit, the 8 sweep year old could fix a salvaged boat in as little time as a one troll repairman crew could possibly do. But, he had realized that he had never built a ship completely from scratch, and that's what brings us to where we are currently.

Along the riverbanks of Charon's river, there were forests that extended on for a good while. He'd have to get plenty of lumber if he wanted to out-do his steamboat, and acquiring said raw material was the first thing on his to-do list. While he did have the tools to go out and start chopping down trees, by himself, the effort would take much longer than it needed to. So, he called in the help of his lusus. Fatherbear, who was rather complacent to the teal-blood's wishes when full, stomped along after his young charge, the gigantic, six-armed bear looking very menacing in the shade of the forest. And, for several days to come, Charon chopped down trees by normal, conventional methods, and Fatherbear used his immense strength and handy appendages to rip and tear trees out of the ground. For anyone viewing their logging from above, it would appear as though trees were being toppled over left right and center, and from the ground, every few moments one could hear gigantic, crashing sounds as lusus and troll gathered more and more wood.

After about five days of continuous tree massacring, Fatherbear started to become incredibly grumpy and hungry, and refused to pull out another tree until he was full again. Charon felt it would be impolite to think his lusus should work on a empty stomach, so, as the two went down the newly formed logging trail that resulted from their continuous efforts in one direction , Charon was fully intended on hopping into his fishing boat and getting a big catch to get his lusus back into working shape. He was currently perched on Fatherbear's back, and was keeping a eye open. Who knows who could be lurking around in the woods?... Not really anyone normally, because not a whole lot of trolls lived near him (worst case scenario normally is a quadrant member might appear out of nowhere and spook him), but still, paranoia is paranoia.
