People. People, people people.

In the history of this site. Nobody has made a successful session work out, go all the way through, end. People, you try, yes. But nobody really has tried hard enough.

So I have a challenge to you: I ask for three people. Three people who would be able to post at least once every day. People who have a good amount of Roleplay experience, people who can work as a team- Not just in-rp, but outside too. People who have the gumption to keep going when things get thrown at you. People who can start, continue, finish.

I ask for three. I'll settle for two. But either way, we'll make a session, and we'll make it work.
The session will be successful, though obviously not without bumps. It will include a time player and a space player, no if ands or buts. If there are only two people I find then we each will use two characters, a six total instead of four. All included characters will be hand made and tailored to the session- No already existing characters. It will make things work much, much more smoothly. The session will work, and it will be fabulous.



Do such people as I am looking for exist?

I suppose we will soon find out.

we have 3 good players in our sesion right now, the other 2 dont appear as ofter, maybe we can have a succesful run in this one......if we have some kind of......external help?

I think I should be able to stick with it. I'm pretty much online here everyday unless I have exams or got my devices taken away or something.

Also as in 'existing players' do you mean we can't use the OCs we have and we have to create new ones or can we use our current ones?

1.) trolls, humans, mixed, or what? I really don't care, but I like to plan ahead of time.

2.) I am on everyday. The only reasons I wouldn't be on is if something happened to both my computer and phone, or something happened to me.

It means exactly that, yes. You'd make new ones. Because I want this to mesh together well, and old characters already have clearly-defined personalities; New ones one would tend to mold a bit.

1: Humans, preferably. For a four person game, then yes. Maybe for the six person game a few trolls, but humans just work better as a team.
2: That's great. I've seen both you and Panda post a lot, very often. But I have one bone, see below.
3: The people who play them, of course. I don't want to make 4-6 characters :P

My bone: Neither of you guys have been here long. I don't know how long either of you have been RPing, but looking at the threads either of have posted in, your posts are relatively simple and concise bluntly speaking. I'd want people who can post two-hundred word posts at least, people who can post frequently but be patient for everyone else, too. If you really want to play a time character, Red, then I’ll have to warn you that is a challenge- You gotta understand HS time travel, and be able to use it without godmodding. And understand how it would mesh with your class.

So, how long have you two been RPing?

With friends I have been regularly rp-ing for like 7 years now (in irc chats). Officially (forum-wise), I've rp'd for about 3 years. For Homestuck, I've been rp-ing for only like 4 months with friends. This sitewise, I have only rp'd for 10 days :/

About the time player thing, I'm feeling pretty confident about being able to pull it off, but I'm also hesitant about it. If somebody else comes along wanting time, they can have it and I can find something else. If nobody comes that wants it, I'll take it.

Also, I don't like people god-modding, so I don't do it either.

p.s. I can max out the character count if I put my mind to it (I won't though, because nobody wants to read ALL of that.

Well, you do sound pretty confident. But, I think we'll let everyone make their own characters :3

So, what about you, Panda?

I've been RPing for about 3 years or so now (generally speaking). I can usually type quite some as long as the plot's going smoothly and if I'm not on my phone, considering that I usually am on weekdays because of school and such.
However, I've just recently started forum RP-ing I think? Back then I used to RP script(rarely) and descriptive(a lot now) on sites like Quotev and Wattpad. If need be, I can shorten and increase the amount of words depending on how the person I RP with requires.
Note: I usually do 1x1 RP but I'm fine with group RP as long as it goes along in a smooth, systematical order which gives everyone a chance to reply and still stick to the plot.

Sounds good. And yes, we are most definitely going to have a post order, because without one things can get hectic and people feel left out ;P

So, you two look pretty good, but I've got to confirm; Are you two entirely sure you both want to and can go through with this?

Kasius, BK, I don't wanna say no. But I do have to say it to one of you.
Though technically one of you could argue that Red hasn't replied with an affirmation yet.
Or you could argue that we could just have more people in the session.
But I don't really want five individual people who could at any time drop out due to inactivity.

If you do pick out of BK and Kai, I just want to say, that me and Kai have already had quite the interesting relationship in the most recent "SGRUB Session (OPEN)"

Though it also is true that BK is one of the forum's elders meaning more experience.

Honestly, we have a pretty good 5-person (or more) combo imo.

If I am however kicked, I'll be a bit sad for a while, but it'd really only be a while.

Oh, you're adorable. I don't wanna say no to either, but I don't want this to not-work either. If I was convinced five people could work, I'd do it.

So sure, let's do five people. But right now, I'm warning you about the stairs. If anyone drops out of this, I am going to just say... "I warned you about the stairs bro!!!! I told you dog!"


So, for five people. How many characters?

Firstly, warning heeded.

Secondly, is "heeded" an actual word? If so it is my new favorite word, because it sounds so weird to say.

Thirdly, I can pretty much have at most three characters of equal standing (equalish balance of talking amongst them). That is, if I have over three, I am likely to leave one out quite a bit. My absolute max for rping as (serious) regular to semi-regular characters is 13 at once (I have done this before, not in forums really.). I'm however hesitant to say I can roleplay 13 regular characters for Homestuck, but I doubt most people can really.

Fourth, I would say 3 to 5 characters each pretty much.

Oh yes, I'd seldom ask people to RP more than two, near-never more than three.

For your fourth. That's suggesting an either fifteen or twenty-five player session. Which is generally insane. I think two players each would be cray-cray, just at ten. So I'm either thinking a five player session or something like some people having two and others not for a six or eight player session. I think I'll put up a poll.

Oh, I was thinking side characters as well. You know, sprites, guardians, etc.

But joking aside, whaddawe asking for? Is it half trolls half humans, all humans, all trolls (:P), a mix?

I prefer trolls over humans XD

Humans work better together.

I have more experience with trolls, but it's not because I hate humans, it's just that I haven't made a human yet. So, my vote is with trolls or mix, because I am curious how a mixed session would work out for us.
