FREEDOM

The night wind rocks the evergreens
As the moon rises high in the void
Life moves ever slowly
As we all seek our dreams.

Days of endless torture
Of nets that ensnare our minds
And coils of lies and slander
That are hard to forget.

But ever so the caged bird sings
Of sky and tree and air
Longing for what it doesn't know
This caged bird sings for freedom.

I'm sorry if I'm all up and raining contradictions on your points, but let's bust a can of happiness In this corner.

Dreams


hindsight oh hindsight won't you share some gracious light
On the past we thought so slow before we could take flight
Illuminate the silent night like a full lunar phase
Give us a chance of insanity, make us loony, send us into a daze

As you can see, or rather picture in your imagination
You mind gets invaded by these pictures you fancy or moments of recollection
Your pillow sends you on a trip to sandman's land look there's an ocean take a dip
And you'll enter a fantasy a dream you just wish to see in reality

You push forward in the waking time to bring fiction into fact
Yet you get detracted distracted by meaningless happy acts
Perhaps the final goal is your dream and you get some frustration from a slow pace that it seems
But I deem it nessesary to enjoy the slow downs, transmute a smile from a frown

Go on little song bird sing
Let your little voice go out a ring
Perhaps if you continue the sonata your owner will say sayonara
Open the door of the cage and let you fly
Wonder if it'll keep singing or if the song of freedom was a lie
You may scratch the skies with your wings till you feel alive
But like a fish eventually you'll have to dive
Find a nest and make it out of grimy bark and twigs
Oh that cage looks so nice and big
When you know everything you'll know that most of it is terrible
It makes every second of ignorance before seem more bearable
You're dreams start to lose their luster as you lose the will to muster any more force of will then you're getting flustered
Nothing seems to work, everybody is a jerk, the world is meant to take and swallow any sense of dignity you possess and make you wallow is self loathing and dispair
Maybe the cage would've been better if you had someone with you in which to share
Turtle doves are only sung of when in pairs.

God dammit, I think I might be sad on the inside too.

Dreams


Sudden as the dark night sky
in which diamonds shimmer
your mind begins its ascent
to make your worries dimmer.

Clouds of cotton candy
soar through the blue abyss
of hope and love and many things
that without your dreams you'd miss.

Clear blue oceans
green calm seas
tides of warmth and lullabies
that put your mind at ease.

And even when your hope is gone
when time is running out
remember of that perfect place

I use that weird squiggle to show happiness. idk what the fuck its actually for.

I always use it to show a whispy voice at the end of a sentence, when I'm happy I usually give you compliments in the form of insults.

Sky with day's last gold
with one who you love so much

field of flowers
green and true
reminding me
to think of you

leaves descending
brisk cool wind
that blows away the summers end

I try to sing to your melody
voices reaching out so blindly
I try to find the way to say
I would love you any day

but

our voices clash
the tunes don't blend
and I just cant stand to pretend
