Basic cheer help
Okay, so I'm a cheerleader, that is the sport I have perused this year, but I can't get my legs to spread enough when I do toe touches. I can do high kicks fine and my stretches are fine I can almost do a split but as I said I can't spread them! Do any of you have any advice?
Re: Basic cheer help
I don't do cheer or anything of the sort (fuck being active), but I do know that if you stretch on a regular basis, it'll loosen you up some. I had a friend who did cheer, and she used to do a bunch of stretches every night before going to bed to work towards a perfect split. If you're not already doing that, perhaps it would be a good idea to try!
And by stretches, I mean trying to do a split as low as she could go, then stopping and relaxing, then doing it again, etc.
