I am so lost...

ok there is something bugging me... I have a crush I want to talk to and at least become friends with but im a pansy and too scared to even approach him. I don't know what to do. I have asked my friends and even my mom but I am absolutely terrified... any advice on how to talk to him or even be friends?

Say things about him or the things he does. Depending on whay he does it shouldn't be that hard, if he draws tell him you like his art style. Anything to boost his confidence around you and make you both comfortable. Find things you have in common! I can not stress this enough if he likes a certian band or something and you do to strike up a conversation with him. Always smile, even if it isn't big, a smile can go a long way!

As your friend I would all up and motivate you to swallow a pill of courage and go talk to him, spread all the freaking love and don't be shy, just be you, you don't seem like a terrible human being, being you couldn't hurt, no, scratch that, normal you would avoid him and be flustered, go up and be a more confident you, that you is so much better at approaching new people, and remember to stay cool.

Hand him baked goods! Works every time.

Aaaahhh I totally hear you, man. Trying to get people to recognize you as someone who could potentially be a friend is a fucking pain in the ass. But if you see him doing something you can think to comment positively on, go for it! I know courage is also a thing, but what's the worst he's going to do? Ignore you? He has no incentive to hit you, unless you present him with one. It's good to try, and I highly encourage you to do that. You're a sweet.

Regardless, anyone who would actually hit you is not worth your time or affections. Neither is someone who would completely ignore you or insult you. Have some confidence in yourself, love. I don't wanna see you chasing after an asshole when you obviously deserve so much better. <3
