Personality:  Astero’s nature is somewhat akin to that of an asteroid, lazily floating around in orbit and refusing to leave their usual route unless forced to. She tends to only focus on what she considers important, that being having scheduled one-sided conversations with the stars, spontaneously dissociating, studying astronomy, and having more one-sided conversations but with her lusus instead (though her floaty lusus will occasionally respond with a few clicks or growls). It will take a quite a bit of pestering to convince her to deviate from her schedule, acting like a stubborn space rock in orbit, and do something else. The one who would most likely succeed at this would be her moirail, anyone else will experience more trouble attempting to persuade her to join in any activities. Her increased interest in space was mostly thanks to discovering the journals of her ancestor, who was both an astronomer and a skilled oracle, while exploring the ruins of an ancient tower. She does attempt to predict the future using the stars, but she struggles greatly to understand them and rarely makes any accurate predictions, the logs of her ancestor not giving her much help.

When it comes to talking about subjects she knows little about or that she doesn’t care about, the young troll won’t have much to say other than maybe throwing in a few opinions or observations here and there, almost certainly spacing out not a second after when she’s unable to think of anything else to say. Astero spaces out frequently, having trouble keeping focus on most things except for certain subjects. Important meeting? She’ll be staring blankly in a random direction, drowning in thoughts of questioning the credibility of reality, pondering aspects of astronomy that she has yet to study, and flashing back to past conversations with the stars and wondering what the next conversation will focus on, within 10 seconds of said meeting beginning. Concerning topics she does enjoy talking about, specifically astronomy, art, and aliens, she will speak much more frequently and will probably become the one to carry the conversation. Her other interests stem from her deep interest in space, having practiced drawing and painting in order to illustrate her research, anomalies spotted, and to paint brilliant stars on the walls of her hive using her own skill. However, she still hasn’t quite mastered art. Her research illustrations of planets and stars look somewhat like senseless scribbles by a very young troll still learning to use their newfound limbs. Nevertheless, she appreciates art, many times referencing to the starry night skies as works of art (and the area where her eyes usually drift up to when she spaces out). Being an avid space fanatic, Astero has taken it upon herself to study aliens as well, aspiring to befriend one. Unfortunately, this probably won’t happen, seeing that aliens were always culled. Knowing that she would encounter aliens when she reaches adulthood and joins the military might’ve excited Astero, but knowing she would only meet dead or soon-to-be-dead aliens makes her look towards adulthood with more dread than excitement. At the very least, she would be exploring the cosmos on a badass space ship.

Due to spacing out often, Astero is a very forgetful troll. The only thing she remembers well is her own basic personal info (Name, blood color, etc), research, and her schedule (but she does sometimes forget parts of it, though she has down a written schedule just in case). She’s likely to forget any special events if she doesn’t write them down on paper (she carries around a little book and pen on her person at all times because of this), or call someone she has known for only a few weeks by the wrong name. Despite this, the young troll is surprisingly observant, scrutinizing her surroundings or not very noticeable things. While spacing out, the majority of the time she’ll turn to examine her surroundings, the sky, and anything that would usually be brushed off as unimportant to other people. However, this makes it difficult for others keep her attention, much to the annoyance of those who talk to her.

Astero is able to stay relatively calm throughout most situations, rarely panicking and will either attempt to solve the problem or ignore it completely, setting it aside to focus on something else (usually it’s the latter). Because of Astero's lack of social skills, she’s not exactly the best comforter. But if someone like her moirail needs comforting, she’ll do her best, though she will pause repeatedly trying to think of the best words to say. In deeper relationships like matespiritship, Astero tries her absolute hardest to show her love for them, even letting them borrow her precious astronomy books or even make art for them. She feels more comfortable to be herself around them, leading her speak more frequently. Astero’s attitude around others is relatively neutral, offering a few smiles if she feels up to it or absent-mindedly nodding along to whatever conversation she’s been dragged into.
 
Physical appearance: A curly mess of short, black, and curly hair resides on Astero’s head, reaching down to just a few inches above her shoulders. A two bangs next to each other hang in the middle of Astero’s face. Her horns are flat with round corners, having a length of 6.5 inches and a width of 2.5 inches. One curly 3 inch long horn is at the base of each larger horn, protruding towards the outward side of the larger horn.

Astero’s jawline is more round than it is sharp, giving her a childish appearance. Her scleras are yellow, like any other troll. However, formerly dark grey irises have turned gold, sharing the same color of her blood, a permanent sign of approaching adulthood. However, the colored irises isn’t very noticeable, due to the color being similar to that of the scleras.

Since she paints/draws often, her hands are covered in a few specks of paint and other art materials. A few minor scars litter her arms, left by her lusus’ mandibles when she was a young troll ,who had just completed her trials, attempting to find a way to feed the colossal creature while keeping herself in one piece.

Because she exercises only occasionally (if pacing around the room, climbing stairs, and writing harshly counts) she isn’t very muscular. She’s a bit more on the chubbier side.

For casual wear, Astero will usually wear a white shirt with her symbol on it along with an open black jacket, the jacket bearing a single yellow stripe on each outer side of the sleeves and torso. Her pine-green pants are loose and comfy, decorated by numerous little knitted yellow stars that Astero added herself. As for shoe wear she'll wear simple black sneakers.

Psionic Power:

• BLANK OUT: Allows the user to cause their target to "space out" for 3.5 seconds, causing the target to very briefly forget their next action and their situation, leading the target to be confused. In order for this psionic power to activate, the user must maintain direct eye contact with the target for at least one second. The power's effectiveness (the amount of time that the target blanks out) decreases if it's used multiple times in a short span of time. Abuse of the power leads to two side effects (which usually occur within 30 minutes of overuse): mild double vision and decreased focus. BLANK OUT has no effect on denizens.
  
  The user can use BLANK OUT on themself in order to cancel out mind controlling powers ranging from weak to moderate.

Lusus: A mostly docile, white tomopteris of an impressive length (278.5ft long) with slender and gentle tendrils that vary in length, the longest tendrils being 150ft long. Boasts two intimidating mandibles. Usually found gracefully soaring through the sky, circling Astero’s tall hive or resting on it. It lets out a glass shattering screech in order to alert Astero of danger, when it's hungry, or to scare off intruders. Known as Tendrilmom

Due to its lack of speed and combat capabilities, it's not that dangerous to others. But its ear-piercing screech is enough to send most enemies/intruders on their way.

Fetch Modus: Orbit Modus: Items in the inventory will appear in a clustered (depending on the number of items) ring formation around the player when the Sylladex is open. The items will circle in a fixed orbit around the user at an adjustable speed, the speed ranging from 2 mph to 68 mph.

Other:

• Has gone FLARPing before, which is how she retrieved her dual chain maces and her grappling hook, but rarely goes out FLARPing. She prefers to spend the majority of her time researching and doing other activities.
  
• Uses maces only because they look similar to asteroids.
  
• Despite having a schedule, she's disorganized with almost everything else. She has a tall book shelf but is sometimes too lazy to put books back, therefore a 3ft tall stack of books has piled up on her desk.
  
• Owns 25 sweaters and jackets each and has only 5 shirts suitable for warm weather.
  
• Has emergency earplugs on her person just in case her lusus screeches without warning.
  
• Alternates between jobs because she keeps getting fired for spacing out too often.
