Rook P'ver (Thathal, Finished)
Name: Rook P'ver (pronounced piv-air, meant to be a shortened version of the work pivert, which is french for woodpecker)
Species: Thathal
Gender: Hauk
Height: 5'5''
Age: 504 Lagiosian years, right in the thick of the feathering stage. This is equivalent to 16-17 human years
Lineage: Woodpecker
Blood Color: Cherry red
Attribute: Balance. No matter what you do you can not knock this dude over. He's like a fricken bop bag over here. He can also balance stuff on top of his head, but that's gotten a lot less impressive because he does it literally all the time.
Caretaker: A fauna (animal) similar to the Earth tiger, just red in color.
Personality: Much like his attribute, Rook led a fairly balanced life before discovering Sbird (Lagiosian term for Sburb). He knew how to remain positive about life without being a prick about it, he was moderately good at art but not a Erith Rubec by a long shot, and he was fairly quiet while still managing to maintain a few strong secondary relationships. However, once he entered the medium, his feathers got ruffled at the scope of it all. He became louder and more easily to upset than he was before the game. A positive side effect of this was that he developed some real confidence and self-esteem that, while not lacking before the game, had never really been challenged before. Over time he was able to perfect the art of remaining calm and unbiased, leading him to mastering the god-tier aspect of mind.
Strengths: When he manages to not let his emotions get to him Rook can be brutal with his use of logic. He can pick apart just about any argument and see all sides of a situation with a view unobstructed by bias, making him one of the best at coming up with plans for his team. As a Thathal he has some genetic strengths compared to other species, such as the ability to fly and resistance to disease. He's also really good at balancing stuff on his head. Not that that skill will ever help him in the game. What could he do, intimidate the black king into giving up?
Weaknesses: While mind can be a strength, it can also be a weakness. He may face a disconnect with the rest of his team when the others try to make decisions based off of emotions instead of logic, making him seem uncaring and apathetic in comparison. Thathals have hollow bones so its just that much easier to break bones. He's also not very physically strong and has to rely on his flight, balance, and quick mind to get through fights.
Fears/Insecurities: Rook comes off as a laid back sorta guy most of the time, no insecurities there! However, he's actually pretty uncertain about his own worth to his team and their opinions of him. He's not exactly the most liked guy being a mind player and all. He always wonders if they have him around because they genuinely like him, or if they just let him tag along because he's useful as a god tier.
Likes and Hobbies: Art, nature, discussing ethics, making impromptu nests out of comfy things, experimenting with his personality/coming out of his shell
Dislikes: Violence, closed minded people, the cold, swimming/getting wet, ridiculous situations.
Handle: carminePlume
Typing Style:
God Tier Title: Heir of Mind
Land: Land of Bridges and Advertisements. The entire planet is just a system of interlocking ramps, bridges, stairs, and small buildings. There are advertisements literally everywhere, from billboards to flocks of sentient fliers. Rook isn't sure if he's annoyed by the sheer number of ads or impressed by the art styles used on some of the billboards. The inhabitants of the land are pink gekos that often use the fliers for hats.
Derse or Prospit: Prospit
Strife Specibus: No self-respecting Thathal owns a strife specibus! Once the game started, however, Rook realized how much he would need weapons for self-defense. He picked up some sticks and pried some wooden boards off of a building to make his brand new "woodkind"strife self-defense specibus. Once he reached god-tier he acquired a wooden staff.
Describe your character in three words: Pacifistic, Logical, High-Spirited
If your character were stranded on an island and could only bring two things with them, what would they be?: Rook would probably find this question ridiculous, mostly because Thathals don't get stranded on islands. It's like asking a human what they would bring if they were "stuck" on land! If he humored the question asker, however, he'd probably settle on a food appearifier and a nice hammock.

- appearance:
- Picture Coming Soon!
Rook's entire body is red in color (think the sprites and how they tend to be one color in many different tints). His wings and head feathers (aka hair) are a deeper red and his skin is a shade of reddish-pink. The tips of his wings and headfeathers are dusted with pink, orange, and the slightest hint of teal, the dusting being synthetic in origin (like hair coloring) and not natural. His eyes are a darker shade of teal. His appearance back at home often earned him the nickname of "Toucan" which, while at first may seem derogatory, is a complement to his skill with "self-art"
There's not any one set of clothing he sticks to but it usually tends to be monochromatic, cool pastels, or beige to set off his wing color. His clothes do not have his symbol on them because he just went ahead and tattooed it on the back of his neck.

Re: Rook P'ver (Thathal, Finished)
Looks fine to me, although the person who made the Thathals quit the site it looks like. Generally we wait for the maker of the race to approve first, but since that probly won't happen, you're good for play as a character goes.
Oh, also, if your character is WiP at first, feel free to post in the thread and say you've finished so that we can see it easier xD
but yeah approved 4 sure
