I agree wholeheartedly with this course of action. DT, it's you up first. :3

Oh dear, I hope it cheers up for you. Rain is never really fun.

Hello!
I posted, but I wasn't exactly happy with it. I suppose there is only so much emotion I can convey in any given scene.
Trust me though, there will be more later.

You certainly did very well. You convey your character with a grace I've seen rarely of Roleplayers.
I shall have to step up my game.

Re: Godstuck discussion (Closed!)
Well I thank you for thinking so!
I honestly think we got the cream of the crop working for us in this thread :P I've rarely participated in a role play so complexly thought out in such a way that it isn't narrowed down to one or two paths. This could very well lead anywhere!

Oh I am the master of open ended-ness. :P
But yes, this is an amazing idea tied together by some quite talented writers.
Keeping ideas organised helps too, though I don't know if it's common practice over on this forum to keep a sheet of information XD

Re: Godstuck discussion (Closed!)
Oh well, I certainly don't regret it, especially with all the complex ideas we're throwing around here.
Hmmm, I'm trying to think of things to discuss, as may be evident.
Ah yes, even though I've been writing for a while, I still use too many commas thus making my writing seem a bit disjointed and hard to follow. How does one go about continuing a sentence without overusing the problematic punctuation?

Also I don't think you have much of a problem of disjointment Umbra, as far as I can tell. You seem to use commas reasonably, though I can understand where you are coming from. I've faced similar problems in the past.

*hugs Duelling* You're too nice <3
Anyhow, I better get started on my next piece myself as I write a little slowly.

Re: Godstuck discussion (Closed!)
HE COMES
Now, before we start fighting, as lovely as it would be to leave it open ended, I think maybe we should lay down some ground rules?
My suggestion would be that everyone involved in the fight rolls a d10 and the highest roller wins, lowest roller loses. A perfect 1 is critical damage against your character, while a perfect 10 dictates that your character takes no damage whatsoever with a bigger gap between rolls being what dictates how much damage you take. Concurrently, the lowest roll of the bunch dictates how many posts you are given to wrap the fight up in.
What do you think?
EDIT: I would also suggest rolling and calling for Rolls in this thread rather than over in the main RP.

You can post whenever so long as we each have one more post in this section. Unless you'd like to post last. *Shrugs not drugs.*

Re: Godstuck discussion (Closed!)
I feel like that you guys can post in any order that you like, just so long it's between my posts since I was the first in the cycle.
As far as deciding how to deal with dueling, that's a difficult question. Where I hail from (in the RPing world), duels were a thing of give and take. You used reasonableness as your measuring stick, and communication as your rule of thumb.
I haven't really delved into the world of dice before, because to me, for any given situation there is always an unexpected, unorthodox response. You can't replicate that with dice.
I'll give it a good think, but I do believe in some capacity we need to utilize this great tool the site offers us.
