Duardin

Bianca and her crew had made little progress with finding food, however what they did find she had decided to try and use on the Boar-creatures. When she reported in later in the afternoon, she said they had taken some food and left it in a pile near the pigs as the Duardin sat close to the food but not to close. It took all day of repeating this process, but one of the Duardins was able to sit a mere five feet from one of the boars before they had to return. The Duardin women seems thoughtful on the matter, believing that they could likely tame a couple within a few days.
Judging from how docile they are, either there are few terrestrial predators in the swamp, or the Boars are to dangerous to be hunted regularly. After examining them, the latter seems more likely. An adult boar stood 4 feet tall, and had tusks with a serrated outer edge. They were also almost entirely comprised of muscle underneath a thick mud stained coat of fur.

She thinks they regularly go from the swamp to the mountains, due to their adaptation to colder weather seen in their fur.
The team sent to the mountains, instead of bringing discovery, instead brought arguably more precious resources. Carrying 20 units of food in fruit and meat from a goat they threw a rock at to knock down a cliff, the mountain team looked pretty happy with their find, suggesting bringing more people to where they found the food.

The Cave exploration goes well enough, multiple paths were found to branch off from the turn near the entrance. However, the swamp water seemed to go down every path until it seems the mud and grime solidified enough from the lack of water that one could stand on it. However only one of these tunnel did such, and was a dead end. The others seems to just keep going in terms of swamp water, as if some flow of water was keeping the paths covered.

Naturally, the camp moves to the area that wasn't ankle deep in swamp water, and the fire would be set up there.

Whitebeard's Pick design, until he brought it to the minds of his people, was a failure. The wood in the area could not hold onto the stone at all when it was lodged into the handle, and attempts to make the stone be held tighter met with the wood splitting to much to be of use.

One of the mind presented with the idea took a partially made pick, with the stone looking as if it would fall out if the Dwarf had not been holding it firmly and carefully. They then took some of the swamp mud and grime and made a large clump of it around the stone and stick where they met. He then placed this near the fire carefully, and suggested to wait.

The two Duardin sent to the icy cave do not return that night.

The sent out for one last food run head to the location where the last group finds food, bringing back another 25 units of food. They noted that near by was a small valley filled with fruit bearing trees and berry bushes.

The the journey to the inhabited cave ended with two history changing discoveries. First was the discovery of the Gyoujin, an avian race who proved to be very amiable to Duardin. Peaceful relations were had, and a beginning to a communication was being formed. However, this was interrupted by a rival group of Avians called the Sourjin. The Gyoujin had been trying to dig out some of their clan members from a caved in tunnel, but had to leave when they sensed the Sourjin approaching.

Whitebeard and Stonefoot were caught in a fight with some of the Soujin, but managed to kill one and save two of the trapped Gyoujin, bringing them back to camp. One was a small male child, and the other a teenage female.

The discovery of other races inhabiting the mountain has caused quite a stir in the clan, some calling for total destruction of both, the destruction of the clearly hostile ones, enslavement of the kind ones, or even outright ignoring both and just digging deeper into the mountains.
One thing was certain though, the first great Grudge had been written. Scrawled on the cave wall, written in the first tongue, the tribe wrote down the first Grudge, one that would echo throughout all of Duardin history.

Yummi

Both the morning and noon combat training goes well enough, the morning managing to teach each Yummi the basic etiquette of fighting while the noon one prepared the Titan killers to fight much larger opponents. Of course there was only so much they could learn through theory, but they were more prepared then others. One of these Titan killers, named Chew, was rather big. Twice the size of any normal yummi, and thus stronger and tougher. Instead of a stick, he instead decided to carry a rather sturdy candy cane log around, with the tip sharped to a point. It went against the training he was given, but he seemed to use the weapon rather naturally. People have taken to calling him Big chew, or Charleston due to his funny dance he does when he wins a sparring match.

Those trained to be better gatherers learned more effective means of hunting, and also more effective ways of harvesting the wild fruits and edible plants from the area. When the massive foraging endeavor starts, the group manages to bring back 70 units of food. However, they report that it may begin to be harder to forage for food in the area soon if they keep this up.

The farm, while left abandoned, seemed to have been dug up a little by some creature, thus cutting the plantation down by a fourth. However, sprouts were popping out of the soil in some area, which was cause for excitement despite the crop loss.

Jiffy and Tuffy manage to collected enough grass to have a pile the size of Big Chew in the middle of camp.

Dreadion

Group #5 makes little progress with the modified tool head design, but manage to sharpen the ston to a sort of rectangular wedge shape, which will help improve the cutting power of the tool.

The net however is quickly made, after a few hours of figuring out how to tie it all together. And by spending all day on it, one of group five decided that tying rocks to the edges would make it harder to escape. They believe larger nets could be used to capture larger creatures, though larger rocks would be needed.

Group #4 manages to test 3 of the 5 concoctions before the Dreadion dies of poisoning. The first one, called Lotus potion due to it being made with a lotus flower, seemed to have little effect besides numbing the pain of the Dreadion. The second one, Leaf potion, worsened the bleeding of the wound. The third one, dubbed Grave potion due to it's black color and it's assumption to have killed the Dreadion, is thought to have caused the death of the Dreadion. The potion turned the blood of the dreadion black and made his body smell foul mere minutes after ingestion.

Group #3's scouting mission goes well enough, however the scouts found one of the half eaten corpse of the two Dreadion killed by the beast. The other corpse was no where to be found, but it's assumed the creature dragged the other corpse deeper into the area. They chose to simply bury the half eaten corpse, and call it a day then due to the damage the scene did to their moral.

Group #2 had a slight issue with a small scavenger trying to enter the camp and steel food, but they managed to kill the beast and add it to the food supply. +1 unit of food.

Group #2.5 had nothing to report

Group #1 is more hesitant in their searches, the gatherers staying nearer to the hunters this time and the hunter staying
nearer to the laborers. All and all, they manage to gather 20 food. The Gatherers brought back more leaves and berries, while the lumberers, now with a more effective tool, bring back two logs.

Romani

The thinkers who tried to discover ranged forms attack quickly come to the conclusion that throwing rocks would be the best method of attack, as the Romani were strong and could easily master such a simple task to be effective.
he farming thinkers don't get very far, as the farm itself will take time to grow, and many cycles will have to be done before they can discover any pattern.

The fruit gathering goes well, thanks to a few scattered fruit bearing trees scattered around. The bounty is not like it is when hunting, but the quality and ripeness of the fruit, as well as their pleasurable aroma, do help some think there may be something to this Goddess thing.

Due to the first murder of the Romani, the entire tribe has begun to split. One half refuse to believe in any gods, saying that invisible beings in the sky are not to thank for Romani work. The Religious half have begun to fight back, fearing the non-believers would anger the gods for not showing them proper thanks for the bounties they find.

The thought of internal Romani strife is foreign to both sides, and both seek something to blame. The Zealots start to believe there must be something other then a god, something who hold malicious intents, that is causing this turmoil. The Non-believers believe religion itself is to blame, and is spreading rumors that they should dispose the current leader, thinking him insane for saying he was chosen by invisible beings.

This fuels the debates within the senate, for even those who do not believe are still wise enough not to tempt the unknown. However the turmoil caused by this was something foreign to the Romani.

Spooks

An elegant touch managed to determine the creatures largely just stood close together in the cold, using their fur and body heat to keep not only themselves warm, but their less furred young warm as well. Larger individuals of the race would patrol the outside of the clump, occasionally being absorbed back into the group to get warm while another similarly sized one took it's place. The young seemed to wander around beneath the bodies and between the legs of the adults, clumping together when they wanted to rest to further stay warm.

However, a smaller group was off to the side of the main. This was a smaller clump, of about 7 or 8 of the animals. They seemed haggard, their fur falling off or their bodies shaking. One of them was even laying on the icy ground, only moving when it breathed. An elegant touch decides that group may be the sick or old, kept from the heard for some unknown reason.

The wood gatherers come back with a decent bushel of sticks, extending the life of the bonfire by twice what it was before. They say that the normal range is getting slim, and that their next run will likely only give them a 4th of what they brought back today. They say that in order to get more, they'll have to venture further out.

"'Ey Jiff, we're getting scarce on local vittles, do you have any plans on what to do to keep us rolling in the dough?", asks Lord Dictator Theor to the pile of thatch with a green apple and peanutbutter mix toe poking out of it, as she enters the farmside clearing and dumps the food in the pile. "You jerks picking it that clean? I've only seen you guys bend low over there to the right of where the O'ven usually moves. Look somewhere else, I'll record where you guys have been so far so you don't repeat too much.", said the bouncy dialogue bush. Jiffy moves to tumble out with some difficulty, and he is attached to tuffy at the hand. There is a blush on everyone's cheeks as the syrup rises in their bodies. Theor is stuck in silence, as she sees that dear sweet jiff got a new sticky buddy. She scratches the back of her neck and scuttles off with a "Yeah sure Whatever! Don't forget about it just to roll in the hay with that thing okay?!"

the next morning combat training was just as hard as the first. jiffy feels up for practice and participates, and Theor grinds his face into the dirt a crumb harder than anybody else, via wrestling Charleston and using him to body slam jiffy. Everyone benefits. Jiffy spends the noon planning the routes for foraging with the trained pickers for their comment. they seem to have just been going a few miles north in a vague area. Jiffy creates a map with the farm in the center and the sun as the thing that determines direction, and decides that they should go northwest this time, and go further in a long narrow oval to stretch out the path, as they can pick up as they go and as long as they can loop back to the clearing in 8 hours it would be fine. The cream puffs continue training as usual. For the rest of the day, most of the people went on the new foraging path, while ten of the worst at collecting stay behind and gather a lot of grass for jiffy, as he has made it clear his worry.  in the evening, the ones at camp are supervised by jiffy and convinced to weave the grass and create the beginnings of a giant hut.

Culture game - Page 2 Empty Re: Culture game

Post by Thebluemage Fri Mar 04, 2016 1:04 am

The Whitebeard lay on a bed of moss, being cared for by one of the braidlings, the prepubescent females of his kind. While weakened, his duardin physiology meant that he could sustain such wounds. He just needed some time to recuperate.

Until then, he had to prepare his tribe for war.

The Grudge had been set, a single mighty vendetta against the entirety of the Soujin race. This was no petty goal, it would require extensive preparation. A part of them sighed, having desired more time to entrench his tribe in their cave, but he would simply have to adapt.

After all, another part of him couldn't wait to bash some of those damn skylicker skulls.

Looking up at the roof of the cave, he felt so much more secure. It was nice to finally be out of Mar's sight. No, not nice. Nice did not capture the sheer scope of relief he felt. It felt right. He was about to continue his attempts at sleeping. He did not need to, but it was very good for passing the time, but then the braidling stirred on top of him, awaking from her peaceful slumber. The sight of her brought a smile to his face. It was for her, and others like her he was trying to protect. The cold fury he felt when he encountered the Sourjin returned at this. They had eaten an entire tribe of Duardin...

"Tell me how you got that scar again, Whitebeard." She asked softly, still quite drowsy. She was an adorable thing, clay red hair and freckles. Some amongst the tribe said that freckles were a sign of intense compassion, and watching her face begin to sluggishly light up in interest and joy at just being alive he couldn't help but agree. "Well, young one, let us simply say for now that not all life in our mountain is peaceful like our guests I've brought back." He explained, not wanting to yet ruin any innocence the girl might have.

"My parents say that they're monsters...is that true, Whitebeard?" She asked, not understanding the impact of her words. The Elder sighed, shaking his head softly. He had heard out his sons and daughters when they had demanded the enslavement of the Gyoujin he had calmly but sternly explained that they would never enslave guests. Much less guests who could help them against their common enemy.

"No, my braidling. They are victims of terrible abuse just as our kind are. It is meant for us to destroy the Sourjin alongside them." His fist tightened as he thought of the terrible predators. Their time would come, oh how it would come. "Now go back to sleep, you will need your energy for the morning." He said, a tad more sternly than was necessary.

"Yes, Whitebeard..." The dejected girl said, before closing her eyes and trying to head back to sleep.

The Whitebeard did not join her, his mind now abuzz with plans on how to lay waste to the Sourjin and all their creations.

Morning:

His first order of business would be to send Bianca to go out and continue building relations with the boars. He had been extremely impressed by her report, and felt even more strongly now that they would make very useful weapons and civilian application. She'll be out there all day, and return by nightfall to report her progress and then receive her much deserved food and rest. (>1 duardin sent to tame boars until nighttime)

He then had the innovative duardin, a young beardling named Morgrim, who had improved upon his pick design tackle the problem of how to begin drying out their cave. It was obvious the water was coming into the cave through a specific point. If they could dam this point off, they would have far less soggy living conditions and better utilize their space. He also had one other duardin test out Morgrim's pick now that it had time to harden. (>2 Duardin sent out to work. One, Morgrim, is looking for and attempting to dam the location where the water is seeping in from. The other duardin is testing out Morgrim's pickax on real stone. )

That left 23 of his kin, along with the two poor Gyoujin that had survived the shameless attack of the hated Sourjin. If they were to take the fight to these creatures, he would need to prepare them properly. He had learned from his own fight that the proper application of force can destroy the limbs of a Sourjin. From what he saw, the Gyoujin and Sourjin had similar physiology. He would gather the Duradin together to  lecture them on the difference between the Sourjin and Gyoujin, emphasizing the hatred and xenocide the Sourjin deserve and the sympathy the Gyoujin are due. They were as much victims of the Sourjin's cruelty as they were, and were obligated to assist in this Grudge in some capacity.

>Noon
He would then begin to train ten of the fittest, most furious, most blood thirsty duardin to become the main fighting force. He would pioneer a form of combat that relied on using the application of overwhelming force on weak spots such as joints to cause immense damage. Due to his own physical condition, he would have them be led by the biggest and strongest of the duardin, a red-haired, square-jawed brute named Wolfgarr Breakjaw, so named after he attempted to eat a stone to prove his durability. The stone broke at about the same time his teeth did.
(>10 Duardin will begin specialized training.)

The other twelve Duardin will begin then to try and find sticks that are sturdy enough to be used as weapons or deflecting pieces. The Whitebeard knew that any casualties would likely be due to the terrible natural blade the Sourjin possessed, so anything that could block it would be invaluable.

(>12 Duardin gathering until afternoon.)

The Stonefoot brothers would begin to scrawl their collective knowledge of the surrounding terrain down on the cave walls. That way they could more effectively coordinate their activities.
(>2 Stonefoots working on maps).

>Afternoon:

The warriors continue training under the watchful eye of Whitebeard, using the teenage Gyoujin to show them where they should strike. Obviously, he would not put her into any kind of danger. Especially after what she had gone through.

Eleven Duardin will rest until night, preparing themselves to go out and gather the apple trees while the twelfth will sort through the gathered wood for those that would make the best weapons and shields.

>Night

The ten trained warriors would be allowed to sleep while five Duardin kept watch for raiders and slept in cycles. The one Duardin who had slept the day away, one of the Stonefoot brothers, would travel the Mountains far and wide looking for either the Gyoujin Whitebeard had befriended or more Duardin to warn and perhaps bring back to the cave.

The eleven Duardin who were resting would get up and go out to collect as many apples as they can before bringing them back, returning by early morning.

Everyone else would sleep.

Morning Action:
Zadkeil happy with the renewed progress explained their next steps.

Group  #5 will be getting a new member to their group as to bolster the production rate and enhancement of tools and etc. today they will try to further improve the tool head design as well as making a more intertwined pore messing for collecting smaller things like berries and flora.
Group #4 will examine some of the cobble and rocks around the camp as well as test them in what ever way the please as they cannot test anymore of their potions today.
Group #3 will scout South-east today.
Group #2 will be taught some good evasive-maneuvers for when they may encounter stronger beasts that may wonder to close to the camp. This idea was brought up by Agares as a way to improve the clans view on his actions. non the less Zadkeil agreed to the training only if it didn't obstruct the groups normal guarding routine.
Group #2.5 will continue as normal.
Group #1 hunting party will be getting a new member as they head to the South forest today with the new tool heads to give the eastern forest a rest. The hunting party will be equipped with the weighted pore nets as well as 2 types of the potions tested yesterday. the primary one will be the Leaf potion as to weaken the animals they come across as well as quicken their death. the secondary will be the lotus potion encase another dreadion gets hurt on the hunt. the gathering party will have the job of capturing one of the smaller fauna during this time as well.

Noon action:

Group #3 would have reached destination and learnt what was in that direction.
Group #3 will return after finding out.

Afternoon action:

Group #1 must return to camp at this time with gathered resource. the wood will be saved until further notice.
Instead of throwing the wood straight onto the fire, zadkeil decided that anymore wood brought back by the lumbering party will now be stock-piled for future purposes.

Night action:

Group #3 would by now have return to camp with news that they will elaborate on in the morning.
All Groups beside Group #2.5 will go to sleep at of this time, Group #2.5 will wake up and start night duty for the night.

The Integral Rot strolls around the bonfire, conversing with the Spooks and meeting up with his Boogeymen for his daily update. Things seemed to be good but the news from the wood gatherers was of concern. They determined that they should spend the day organising the Spooks and packing up their gear. Deciding that a test run on how time consuming moving the entire camp, including the bonfire would be. They decided that the amount of time needed to extinguish the fire and pack up the wood would be roughly the same amount of time needed to make it up and light it again. Once they packed up, the entire camp would begin moving for a time, making sure to stop with enough time for the bonfire to be lit and sleeping arrangements redistributed. Basically the amount of time taken off the beginning of the day would be the amount of time the would leave themselves at the end of the day. The time in between reserved for travelling. He knew that they would most likely not get far but the test run would allow for packing procedures to be made and would give them an idea of how far they could get with walking alone. Plus it would hopefully boost morale, the Spooks had been stuck with no progress for days. The frozen wasteland wasn't exactly the best environment for the high spirits group.

An Elegant touch returns mid way through the packing, confused why everyone was on the move. The Integral Rot informed her of the trial and then asked for a report on the beasts. The sickly group that had been abandoned could be a way for short term attainment of fur to happen, but any plans for long term symbiosis with the beasts would only happen if they could obtain their young. Rot tries to think of a way that he could send out a group while also travelling, as the group he sends might get lost. However An Elegant Touch informs him that the smoke plum from the mighty bonfire could be seen from where she was. And she supposed that given the relative flatness of the plain, it could be used as a beacon of sorts for any wandering scouts or groups. He thanks her for the idea and tells her to stay nearby as he would need her soon to guide his decided group.

A Penchant To Pace seemed to be walking around the Spooks, observing them on they were handling the wood and giving them tips on how to effectively distribute the weight for maximum efficiency. He would be the one to know.

Integral Rot decided that a group of five would be acceptable for poking and prodding the heard to see how they would react to being moved towards the main group or how effective they are at defending their young. From the lack of other animals he had seen he assumed that their natural predators were scarce and that the cold climate preferred a 'Survive here and no one can kill you' sort of vibe. An Elegant touch was to lead a team of two large and strong looking Stiffs and one Demon. He didn't want them to be completely defenceless so he gave them a few hard sticks from their wood stock, large enough to swing. He doubted this would help them beat down one of the beasts (Unless them all went hard at one at the same time) but it was better than nothing. He also assigned two members from the group of thinkers the Boogeymen had brought him. His council informing him on any that had shown any particular enthusiasm concerning the beasts. The plan was simple, An Elegant Touch, acting as group leader, would guide the group to their last known location. Tracking them from their if necessary. Once there the thinkers would suggest plans and ideas on how they might interact with the group. The strong Spooks would make sure that nothing attacked them and if it did, protect the thinkers and AET if anything went wrong. They would be provided with enough campfire wood to spend the night, deferring to AET judgement on location, and would then rendezvous with the main group by following the smoke plum of the bonfire. Satisfied with the plan, Rot sent them off. He then helped with the remainder of the packing

Morning

Group packs up. Plans for AET and her group are devised and they leave to the herds last location.

Noon

Group leaves their previous location and begin travelling South. AET and her group arrive at herds last location and track them till they are once again found.

Afternoon

Main Group continues to travel. AET and her group waste no time interacting with the herd. Formulating strategies and putting them into action. Some ideas include; Seeing how the herd reacts to a large group reacts when approached from one side and whether this is enough to control where they move. Seeing how docile the group is when a smaller group is very close. Seeing how the herd reacts too interaction with the sickly and old group. If the older group can be interacted with no issue, use the opportunity to get an up close interaction with the creatures. If successful in these endeavours, see if the herd can at all be coerced into moving closer towards the new Bonfires location.

Night Action

Main Group stops travelling, sets up camp and rests. AET and her group find a suitable location to camp and rest.

Duardin
The grudge is set, in the very stone of the Duardin's mountain like will. It would remain, only covering in moss when it would be completed, and never forgotten.

Bianca returns, having some noticeable scratches and covered in mud, but seeming all the while not to unhappy with herself. According to her latest report, the boar beast had let her get very close, almost touching them. However she had slipped and frightened them. The lead boar had smacked her aside, and  almost charged until it changed it's mind for some reason. She thinks it merely thought that it had performed enough to scare her off. Of course, she stayed and kept testing, but the lead boar was far more defensive.

She suggest that if they can get a hold of one of the young, they could conceivably raise it to be used to them. Of course, a female would be preferable so they could breed more, but she's unsure how to tell the difference between the two genders as all the boar shave tusks and are rather large.

Mogrim's report is rather small, but only because his task was far simpler. After spending all day on the issue, her had collected enough stones and swamp muck to effectively build a small waist high wall in a bubble shape in front of the cave entrance, and then  started to throw water out of it. Due to the walls design, it kept water out and it allowed him to lower the water level a slight bit. He thinks with enough time, he could remove the water completely.

His pick design was somewhat of a success, however it only lasted for 4 good blows on the rock before breaking. It managed to crack and break the rock, but the muck holding it together broke apart and the stone itself chipped and broke slightly due to repeated impacts. It seems if the tools were stockpiled in mass quantity, some work could be done with them.

The map goes well enough, and the tribe now knows exactly where they have been and can not better keep track of where things are, increasing their efficiency in moving in known areas.

Whitebeards lecture on the differences of both treatment and physicality of the Gyoujin and the Sourjin went well enough, though there are still a large number who believe that the way Whitebeard has chosen to treat the Gyoujin to not be the best course.

Sadly, a good number of the ten man fighting force had this opinion, totaling up to six of the fighting force. Wolfgarr was fortunately not part of the group, but this group was still a majority in the force. Thankfully, with the combined watchful eyes of Whitebeard and Wolfgarr, none of the more xenocidal warriors harm the teenage Gyoujin. The Female however showed obvious discomfort with the attention, and the young Gyoujin boy had almost gotten into a physical fight with one of the warriors. It was only thanks to Wolfgarr intervening before things got to heated that likely saved the boys life, as well as preventing a riot.

The Duardin are able to find a multitude of sticks, however due to the environment, they're not the best and break easily. Some suggest finding wood at the valley where they get their food, as the wood would likely be healthier there.

The Duardin who had been out all night return in the morning, with plenty of food due to how long they spend outside. A total of 120 units of food was brought home, causing moral the sky rocket at the feast the rest of the tribe awoke to see.

The scouting Stonefoot brother returns with both grim and somewhat happy news. The grim news, is that he found a field of Duardin bones about half a days journey south of the cave where they first met the Sourjin and the Gyoujin. The bones were licked clean of flesh, and broken open to get at the marrow within. It seems around 4 tribes worth of Duardin lay dead there.

The more positive news is two parts. One, is that with such a large bone field, the Sourjin camp must be near by if they gathered all the duardin in one spot. And two, he found traces of the Gyoujin, and may have a decent enough idea of where to search to find them.

Yummi

Due to once more a massive focus, couple with a new grazing area, a new collection of food comes in that puts everyone's minds at ease. About 80 units of food return with them.

As for the massive hut, by the end of the evening the beginnings of a hut seem to be taking shape. The large amount of materials and people working on the project has lead to the structure seemingly near completion, it mostly being a tarp of tied grass supported by multiple sticks stabbed in the ground. Given enough time the next day, they could likely complete it and half of another one of a medium sized hut. If one were to wish for a singular hut to house the whole tribe, then it would take all day and a single action the next to finish up, unless something lucky happened or the whole tribe worked on it.

Dreadion
Group #5 sadly makes little progress with the improvement of the tool's head, trial and error being their only method to find a technique to make the tool head closer to the eternals wishes. The pore net though was meta with some break through, as a far more intertwined design was created. It was now small enough to form bags for large fruit and leaves and thing sof similar size, but the holes were still too large for berries and such.

Group # 4, after spending some time experimenting with the rocks, discovers that certain rocks  of certain color are more durable then others. they're not sure exactly, and require more testing to find an accurate idea of which colors are superior in terms of endurance.
Group #3 explore the south east, and are met with an extension to the forest, that seemed to be slowly being taken over by the surrounding desert. The sands are pushing in and some trees are falling over from drying out and dying.

Group #1, the hunting segment of the group, prove very adept at the new tools and their uses, quickly taking down larger beast and numerous smaller beast. Their food collection sky rockets, as they bring back near 100 units of food. Due to the cautious atmosphere being slightly lifted by the apparent healing salve, the Dreadion hunters were less afraid of being attacks. The nets themselves helped greatly two. The Hunters have begun to regularly make more of the healing salve, preparing large quantities for hunts and guard duty.

The gathering team, thanks to the net, easily capture numerous small animals, returning to camp with three live creatures. Two of them are small furred creatures of green coloration that seem to hide in the grass. They are canine in appearance, with large ears and lithe bodies. The third one though is entirely different, appearing to be a living rock of some form. It mostly hides itself, folding into it's large rock like shell of a body, but it is clearly insectoid and alive. Both species appear to be Herbivores, and try to escape whenever possible. The foxes are more of a concerned for escaping then the Rock bug however.

Population: 26-27
Food: 22-95 units
Bonfire: 18-17 days

Spooks

The total distance of the camps move was a decent enough distance, making it to another hex before having to set up again. Some thing that if they were to have a camp set up ahead of them, they may be able to increase the speed. However that would require resources to do.

As for the test with the creatures, the results came as followed.

The herd seemed to move a bit when the large group of spooks approached, but when the spooks came too close, a couple of the large outer creatures stepped from the group and stared at the Spooks threateningly. They returned when the spooks move back some distance, and the herd kept moving slightly, but not as much afterwards due to the Spooks backing down.

The older and sicker group did not react at all to spook presence, and simply stood calmly as the Spook came close. They always maintained a certain distance to the main herd, but the main herd never seemed to react to the spooks touching or being so close to the old or sick.

All and all, it would appear that herding the creatures is possible, but with such little knowledge of the boundaries and the slow pace, it would take a rather long time

Thalassi

For a couple weeks now, the Tribe had been growing strong. Thanks to the effort, they had about 160 units of food, enough to last them two days with their population of forty. The Females were largely content, especially with recent discovery of the sharp coral and the invention of primitive spears. They broke rather easily, but were each good for one good stab in to a creature.

Currently, the tribe was camped at the beach of a forest, with ocean as far as they could see north, north-west,  north-east, east, and south-east of them. To their south were mountains covered completely in forest, with a gulf and it's entrance to their south-west and west respectively. On the other side of the gulf, more mountain covered trees.

Near by, to the north around half a day's journey, there was a coral reef where both coral for the spears and schools of fish could be found.

However, despite this rather pleasant situation, the water was carrying a very bad scent. Similar to rotting corpses, but watered down to an almost unnoticeable level. It was coming from the northwest, but likely from days or maybe even weeks away if one wished to swim to it.

The Amphibian species, who named themselves as Thalasii, the people of the Waves, unawarely arose amongst the many tribes that were growing and increasing slowly around them, without them knowing. Of course, assuming they were the greatest people to finally gather into a great tribe and become united, they had to start spreading and arising their empire.

Minemosyne, Great Empress of the People of the Waves arose her voice, speaking from above a rock and arising her beautiful tey delicate scepter made of conchs and kelp, as well as some drifting wood. She urged the females to come forth, a total of 9 of them (10 Counting with her). "My children, a new era begins for our people. I want you to spread and rise, like the waves of the sea. I want 3 of you to lead a Gathering group with 15 of our men to gather food and coral for our weapons to the north. 2 of you shall go East with 10 men to explore and look for materials for us to build our homes underwater. I and the rest shall remain here and protect our small gathering so precious to us for these grounds are blessed by my step. I await for your return with spoils, Failure will be scowled at. Now go, like the foam of the sea." She said in the traditional Thalassian Dialect, disbanding them with the use of her scepter and sitting on her throne being watered by the 5 remaining males as well as her 4 companions that kept watch on the surroundings.

Morning:

-Group A of 18 led by Three Females Left to Gather food and Coral to craft spears on the north corals. Along them came Seanthos, one of the dreamiest Thalassii. He was prone to get lost, however also prone to find something useful on the way.

-Group B of 12 led by two Females Left to explore the Eastern Seas, they were armed with their own teeth, poison and strenght and 10 males to aid in combat if needed.

-Eternal remained home with 4 females and the remaining 5 males being watered by them and females taking watch of campsite, They might dwell briefly inside the forest to check for materials or incoming intruders, never going too deep/ Deep enough to lose sight of beach.

Afternoon:

Eternal shared the tales of their people with the females. For this small period of time The camp isn't being Guarded by anybody, however the Males remain alert.

Night:

-Group A should be back by now with the required supplies. They are greeted by the Eternal, receive a speech thanking them and go back to sleep.

Late Night:

-Group B arrives, everyone but the eternal is asleep. She greets them, speeches and they are sent back to sleep now all togheter.

The Whitebeard, speaker for the Mountains and father of the Duardin, was troubled. He understood his children's distrust of the Gyoujin. The Other was a threat the Duardin must be ever watchful towards, and while the Gyoujin will never warrent the trust. He knew that in order to take their inheritance, they would need to destroy the Sourjin in their entirity, and they would need the help of the Gyoujin to do so.

His eyes fell on the two survivors of the Sourjin attack...no, not attack. It had been a massacure. The fate of Duardin-Sourjin relations relied on their wellbeing, and thus the...overzealous members of his throng could not be allowed to harm them.

If they were to totally eradicate the Sourjin, it would take time. They needed to first secure this position, dig deep into the mountain and take whatever gifts it had for them, and then to make these gifts into mighty tools with which they will destroy their enemies.

The Whitebeard slowly got up, already the worst of his injuries were mending enough for him to stand, his braidling attendent startling at his awakening. "What're we gonna do today, Whitebeard?" She yawned, wrinkleless face quickly britening into a grin.

"The same thing we do every day, young one. Try to take over the mountains."

Morning:

>Send Bianca out again to identify boar young and the differences between the sexs. Continue trying to build relations, but mark any piglets for later abduction.

>Morgrim and all but seven of the remaining Duardin will work on removing all the water from the hold and to better improve the dam using stones.

>Wolfgarr and his Stonebreakers continue training, practicing hand-to-hand combat between one another and focusing on dodging blows. Ensure that the threat of Sourjin claws are expressed throughly by showing off the Whitebeard's battle scars.

>Seven duardin begin mass-producing Morgrim's pick design.

>The Gyoujin will be allowed to help the Duardin

Noon:

>The Whitebeard will sit down with the Gyoujin teenager and boy to try and speak with them over everything that had occurred, to apologize for the attitude of his peers and that no harm will befall them under their care. He seeks to understand their language more, so that they can communicate more efficiently.

Afternoon:

>Bianca returns and reports her findings, before going to sleep until midnight.

>The two Stonefoot brothers will go to sleep.

Night:

>All but two Duardin will then head to sleep after spending some time with the Whitebeard, who will speak with them about their experience so far, and what projects they would like to see done to better their new home. These two Duardin will keep watch until midnight, where they will switch out with two other Duardin and sleep.

Midnight:
>Bianca awakens in order to go out and kidnap a sleeping piglet if possible, Wolfgarr and two Stonebreakers will accompany her for protection if things go wrong, but they are told to retreat instead of fight. These boars sound like fierce combatants.

The party will take as much time as they need to secure targeted young ones, all care must be taken.

>The two Stonefoot brothers go out to find the Sourjin, and the Whitebeard will of course accompany them.

Paranoia over jiffy clouds the mind of the good dictator Theor, yet she continues on the path with good faith, while Bowwi is sneaking glances at jiffy, wondering why he is so popular. meanwhile Charleston Chew has bonded with a strange gal named lanko vvick who is a rather acceptional poker with her battle pixie stick, so well used and worn that it has developed holes which she blows through in near compulsive ritual before the hunt. She has taken great pride in this ritual, and it makes an in her opinion sweet sound she and all others refer to a poka in their throaty accents, which sounds eerily similar to polcah.

The executive orders follow the same for morning and mid day, with everyone training, but this time they train their battle movements by using the grass as their targets, as this is an attempt to gather material.
The titan slayers continue practice by hunting down trees, scaling them, and lopping off limbs which will be used as more sturdy material while the gatherers continue their duties of gathering food. They all work together on the hut for the afternoon and evening, and the building plan is named after the center of jiffy. he is full of peanut butter, and his center and self is nutter. they do his plan, so the building is in the shape of a circle around the farm, and is refered to a do nutter. David Bowwi encourages the tribe by promising to hold a celebration when they are done, much to the infuriation of jiffy and theor, who did not authorize a celebration, but then remember that they have not advanced enough to give a damn about authority and that they quite like celebrations.

resentment brews between theor and tuffy, as she glares at him while he looks around confused and scared. this is done usually when they are building and is always broken up when strange gal lanko vick shows up and starts playing her polcah at them. She is their first psychologist, as she has interpreted this situation as being awkward and analyzed theor as being sour at tuffy.

Morning Action:

Zadkeil happy with the progress explained their next steps.
Group#5 now consisting of 4 members, will be enhancement of tools and etc. today they will try to further improve the tool head design and begin construction of a shelter by using the excess logs collected. they can experiment on how they can go about making the clan a shelter.
Group#4 now consisting of 4 members, will split their group in half to further test the minerals as well as the last couple of potions made to see their effect on the newly captured critters and to get a better idea on how the grave potion works.
Group#3 consisting of 3 members, will pack 6 units of food, leaf and head south until they discover the mysterious [@#$%##@$^%] today.
Group#2 consisting of 5 members and Group2.5 consisting of 2 members will continue as normal. Agares will continue working on combat theory while out on patrol with group 2.
Group#1's hunting party now consisting of 8 members, will head to the west forest today to give the southern forest a rest. the gathering party consisting of 1 member, will have the job of capturing one of the smaller fauna during this time again. lumber party consisting of 2 members, will continue collecting wood.

Zadkeil started to collect some of the fur skins and pelts that were scatted around from skinning the game and started to dunk it in the near by river. After doing that until they were soaked he then proceeded to lay them out on a large broad log and with a sharp stone and scraped the leftover flesh off the skin. This took 3 hours to get through that process but their was more to do. Flipping the skins over he started to de-hair them with another longer sharp stone. After that process was completed he then proceeded to hang them over branches that were in direct sunlight. All the other dreadion that saw this take place were unsure what he was doing and asked him what he was doing. He only replied to them that "he had felt like cleaning up the pelts but finding a new use for them." and nothing else.

Noon action:

None.

Afternoon action:

Group#1 must return to camp at this time with gathered resource. the wood will be stockpiled even further.

Night action:

Group#3 would by now have reached their destination and set up camp for the night.
All Groups beside Group#2.5 will go to sleep at of this time, Group#2.5 will wake up and start night duty for the night.

AET and her group follow the smoke trail back to the main groups new position, reporting to Rot their findings during his daily conversation with his Boogeymen. The news was mixed but with the progress they made with their journeying he may have to turn his eyes to the horizon and forget about the wildlife until his people were in a more hospitable climate. He tells his Boogeymen that he has decided to abandon the idea of befriending these beasts and thanks AET and her group for making the journey. He decides that they could try another day of travel before he begins to once again send out people to investigate how close they are to a change as well as cashing in on the new resources of wood their travel would allow.

He has a brief conversation with a few of his think tank group who inform him that if they could be afford a small amount of the wood they may be able to improve travel time. They postulate that their experimentation with the large, flat piece of wood has yielded some practical results involving crafting flat piece of wood that the Spooks could wear on their feet. The increased surface area makes it easier to get around in the snow as they amount each footstep sinks into the thick snow is decreased and less effort is needed. Rot goes along with their logic though leaves the specifics to them. He agrees to the venture and allows them to take the wood they need. Telling them that they can begin their construction after the days travel and continue throughout the next day as they will not be travelling then.

He takes into consideration setting up a camkp beforehand so that less time would be needed to set up camp after travelling. However he would need to accurately measure how fare they travel in a day so that the pre-camp would be in the right place for when the rest of the group arrives. He asks his think tank to come up with ways to tackle this problem after they travel. He does, however, decides to take a fairly large stick and get some of the stronger spooks to inplant it in the ground sticking upwards. It wasn't the best as beacons go but on the flat and monochromatic planes of ice it would work as a marker for their camps previous spot. So that his think tank can mark progress.

He then organises his people and spends the rest of the day travelling and setting up in their new location.

Morning: Meeting and organising. Packing up camp.
Noon: Travel.
Afternoon: Travel.
Night: Unpacking camp.

Thalasii
Group A managed to acquire a good amount of food and materials, due to the bountiful nature of the sea. Together, they returned with around 50 units of food, as well as a sizable portion of materials, enough to make 20 more spears if so desired.

Group B returned with their report, and a wounded male. To the east, there seemed to be some warmer waters nearer the bottom of the sea, around large vents. However the vents would periodically burst with boiling water that would cook and scorch anything around it except some fish who seemed largely immune to it. The male was wounded when they got to close to the geyser when it was going off.

They also managed to find some rather large clams and oysters, around the size of a Thalasii child, but they were proportionally stronger and tougher to open and the group had been unable to make anything of it.

Duardin
Bianca returns, in the night opposed to the afternoon. She had taken a little longer then expected, but she had managed to mark a couple young Boars to kidnap at a later date. She also managed to determine some differences between the genders. The females were of similar size, but were wider on average. They weren't as agile as the males, but their obvious greater weight likely made them perfect for charging straight into enemies.

Morgrim and the Duardin spent all day, but managed to eventually make it so the cave was now completely unsubmerged. The flow was muddy and covered in grime, but it would quickly dry and become suitable for complete settlement. The wall is improved, and is now beginning to form a sort of platform, as the wall is think enough to walk on, and has steps that make it easier to climb over the wall on both sides.
while the visual aide did seem to help get the threat across, the fact the wounds had not proven fatal weakens their effect a little. However, the warrior continue on with their training.

The Gyoujin were hesitant, but the teenage girl seemed to try and help. She surprised everyone when with her claws, she began to pick as the stone that was safe to pick at, cutting it slowly but surely into suitable shards for the tool making.

Sadly, the whitebeards attempts at communication with the Gyoujin proved fruitless. While the female before was able to quickly adapt it seemed, these children were far less capable. Though some things were picked up, such as possible names for the two. They were names, or the words for Teenager and child, Koilou and Jiahno respectively.

The Two duardin interviewed largely couldn't really figure out what else they wanted, though they both agreed that their feet and skin were getting cut up often by the sharp rocks and such in the area. Also they wanted to know if there was a way to block the entrance without trapping them all there.

Bianca and her part do not return until the afternoon the next day, all of them a little battered and a stone breaker having been stabbe din the arm. However Bianca had managed to stop the bleeding and believed it was likely going to be fine. In their possession, they had Three infant boars, which were roughly the size of a Duardin baby. That is to say, roughly one foot tall and one and half feet long. They were recently born, only a couple days ago actually, and Bianca had planned to kid nap these younglings especially.

The Search for the Gyoujin leads to nothing, and Whitebeard and the stonefoots return to camp empty handed.

Yummi
With the creation of music, the Yummi have invented a non-survival oriented technology. Thus, free time any Yummi has will often end up being used to automatically practice this activity, as it is more fun then sitting around doing jack all.

With The Nutter completed, and now large enough to hold the tribe under it's protected sheet, fear of falling water is alleviated. While many did not speak of it, some had realized it was a possibility. Also, due to the construction of the large shelter, no creature was able to steal from the farm, allowing it to grow unhindered.

While the Titan slayers were out gather wood, the great serpent they had been training to fight made another appearance. The Titan slayers and the gatherers, all with their weapons, had thought themselves prepared for it. But the snake was fast, aggressive, and far meaner then flowers, grass, or wood was. One yummi had been torn completely apart be the jaws of the creature, while anothe\r had been knocked back and impaled on a tree. One of the Titan Slayer lost their eye to the beast after a greavious slash from it's bladed tail. It was pushed away and it retreated soon after, but the attack showed just how strong and dangerous the creature truly was. One of the Titan slayer did manage to stab his sticks into the snake, in one of it's eyes actually. So It would be blind in that eye next time they fought it.

Dreadion

Group#5 Does not manage to improve the head design any further, however they do prove to be on to something in terms of shelter. By propping the logs up on a central tree and using it's branches as part of the structure, they were able to begin what could be a small shelter big enough for two or three people.

Group#4 spent the whole day testing the rocks, and have determined that rocks that are sorta orange in color are in fact harder to chip or scar the more orange they are. However, they are no where near as sharp as the pure white rocks, which seem to maybe come from the [@#$%##@$^%] to the north. They believe they may be more then just rocks, as no normal amount of force has proven strong enough to even
chip it.

Group#4.5 tested the grave potion on two of the critters, and the results were actually very terrifying yet surprising. alone, without leaf potion in the critters, the animals merely appear to get sluggish and slow down before lying down. They then slowly began to decompose a little while still alive, leading to rotted skin and such. The Dreadion fear the grave potions effects, describing them as evil. Many refuse to touch the substance. However, over looked, was how it appeared to make the stone critter move for more actively, and had very little affect on it else wise.

Group#3 set up camp to the north, south of the [@#$%##@$^%].

Group#1 manages to return with another two logs, and another large amount of food, numbering to about 70 units.

Zadkiels work was slowly, but the work was showing the skins of the animal could in fact maybe be used for something, as the skin was quickly drying and didn't seem to attract pests like the meat did. at least, not as quickly it seemed.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Spooks
The spooks manage to cover another two hexes in their travels, fortune on their side as they move rather quickly that day. Ahead of them, they could see what appear to be large mountains, but with trees growing sparsely on their surface. They seemed to be getting closer to actual forests.
before bed, some inventive Spooks try to figure out a way to further improve their ability to move across the icy plains. after some work, with the idea of flattened wood given to them by their leader, they managed to create long and rudimentary slabs of wood after chipping away at them and tying them to other pieces of wood. They then placed these under the supplies and seemed to create a sled.
Sadly though, during the trip, on of the spooks finally fell over and died. They had succumbed to the cold and were not able to continue.
The Whitebeard sat easily on his newly placed sitting stone. Despite the suffering one brave Stonebreaker, Brokk Firmbrow - so named due to how he stared down a charging boar while Bianca pulled her foot from a muddy hole in the ground, the expedition had been fruitful in more ways than one. For example, Bianca had not left Brokk's side since they had returned, watching over his healing process personally.
Heh, young love.
But it was not their burgeoning romance that interested him, no. It were the three sleeping piglets in his lap that captivated his imagination. He smiled broader as he rubbed one of the piglets underbellies. His minds eye, still caught in the virtues of vengeance, could already see the martial potential of these creatures if they reached their full size! His nature was multifaceted, however, and he could also see their other applications - pulling loads of rock and generally assisting around the hold. They needed to be cared for, though, and that would be the sole responsibility of Bianca, the braiding seemed to have a good knowledge of what she was doing with these creatures.
Hm. There was an idea. Take what resources they could from the outside world and use them to develop their own home in this mountain. The outside world held danger, if the remains of the fallen were anything to go by. His heart darkened at that, every passing of Mar's gaze saw him growing more eager to take the fight to the Sourjin, but he knew he needed to wait, bide his time, grow his power.
There was quite a lot of work to do, and today it would be focused on the mountain.
pop: 27-27
Food: 133-106 units
Morning:
Using the newly crafted pickaxes, thirteen duardin along with Koilou will dig deeper into the cave, creating pockets that will become the sleeping quarters and storage areas.
Another thirteen will create additional pickaxes using the rock being mined, and will generally assist in cleaning out the derbies caused by the mining work.
The only one who won't be involved in this will be Bianca, whom will look after the piglets, feeding and bonding with them.
Noon:
Work continues as normal.
Afternoon:
Roughly half, five, of the miners take a break to go sleep.
Night:
The other half of the miners leave the cave, taking some pickaxes with them, to go out and pick at the base of a tree until it falls down, where they will then take it back so it can be used as support pillars. They would be accompanied by the Whitebeard and Morgrim, who had the mutual idea that the mountain will not appreciate losing some of its flesh, and would appreciate a replacement.
Midnight:
The five sleeping miners wake up to add more wood to the bonfire and keep watch at the mouth of the cave, joined by the Whitebeard who will make conversation with them. The rest of the Duardin will sleep.
Culture game - Page 2 Empty Re: Culture game
Post by Monjaro Mon Apr 25, 2016 12:55 am
Morning Action:
Zadkeil Was worried by some aspects of yesterday's fruit.
Group#5 not showing any more improvement on the tools head design will instead have one member just thinking of ideas they can use to better their equipment while the other three will work on more shelters for the clan members.
Group#4 will continue to explore the effects of the grave-potion on the now referred stone bug to see if this would lead to any new discoveries, one of them, however, will be sent aside to see the effects of the orange metal and the mysterious [@#$%##@$^%] when they are placed in a separate fire.
Group#2 and Group2.5 will continue as normal. Agares will instead of continuing working on combat theory while out on patrol with group 2 decided that he will instead go explore the wildlife and learn new means of defence by observing them in their natural habitat. He feels that if he himself doesn't learn then it will just cause ill aforementioned effects on their clan when danger strikes.
Group#1 will head to the northern forest today to give the western forest a rest.
Zadkeil started to worry because only he had realized that the gathering party didn't return. So instead of asking around while everyone was busy he decided to go looking himself as his project still needed today to dry out. Grabbing a spare axe, he strapped it to the end of a long stick with pore and went out into the western forest in search for the missing dreadion.
Noon action:
Zadkeil starts to see signs of the missing dreadion as footprints and broken branches littered the used Forrest path when he started to hear two voice. One of the missing dreadion which calmed his mind but then a voice which seemed hollow like an echo yet was not like a true echo. Walking out of the shrubbery and into the same opening the voices came from he only saw the dreadion and no one else. The missing person was a young female dreadion whose tail was more embedded with what most thoughts was here soul as to make a reason to why there was a massive red orb in the middle of her tail when others didn't have one the size. Only at the point did Zadkeil realise who the other voice belonged to.
As the second voice spoke the orb emanated a light red glow. Zadkeil sat and watched the two, not wanting to interrupt their conversation. It was like a younger sibling talking to a newborn as the dreadion tried to explain it's surroundings to its tail.
Afternoon action:
Group#1 must return to camp at this time with gathered resource. The wood will be stockpiled even further.
Zadkeil saw that the sun was setting and that they would have to return home. He finally signaled the two as that it was time to go home. They spent the time walking back talking to each other.
Night action:
Group#3 would by now have reached their destination and set up camp for the night.
Agares will return to camp to rest after the long day.
All Groups beside Group#2.5 will go to sleep at of this time, Group#2.5 will wake up and start night duty for the night.
That is the tail. It looks so sharp and shiny. My eye is now gone. Oh god. Oh my monotheistic faith in this deity of flavor mother fuck my fucking eye is gone with that god damn snake tail. I am bleeding fucking warm syrup from the socket oh god this hurts, and I think it took part of my brain. I wonder what yummi brains do. Maybe they are meant to ponder morality and metaphysical laws of the universe, and decide what words mean, such as deserve. Maybe all things are as they should be because everyone deserves what they get, like when I lost an eye, it was deserved preemptively before this moment. I have blanked out and am filled with rage for some seconds now, and I think I have just climbed onto it and crawled onto its neck, and am now trying to strangle it with my legs. In this moment, I have one arm, I think I deserve it for picking on someone without arms. Now, I am using my one arm to stab it in the face, over and over and over until my stick got stuck on its eye. Oh look, I passed out from shock after yelling triumphantly in nerd rage. Huh, as I am falling down, I see two of my dead uncles. If my theory on metaphysics is correct, this means that this snake is now destined to die twice. Ow. I think I just broke a rib on the ground.
In the morning, I woke up with my weapon still in hand, in the donut, with my eye bandaged up with gum. I immediately went to the nearest pool of soda to look at my reflection, and peeled off the bandage. My eye socket was still lightly bleeding and seems to be festering, I can feel my nerves, desperate to latch onto another tasty thing to incorporate into my body, craving it like a countless slobbering tongues. Every fiber of my being just wants to be whole again, to have depth perception, and it hurts to not have something tasty in my eye socket, and until now, I have never realized how tasty my eye was. My singular gaze fell upon my weapon, a sharpened stick with a ball of candy on the end. This is me now. I am this. I realize, that this is tasty. Instinctually, I grabbed the snake eye stuck onto my stick, and squish it into my eye socket. Oh, I moaned in an unflattering way in pain as I feel an alien piece of bio candy matter meld into me, one that has been stabbed but remains functional, healing as it is stuffed into my body. I see my hand over my eye now. I blink with both eyes. I look back to the soda pool to look at myself. I am damn sexy, as any yummi would say to themselves upon looking into the water. My second thought is that I am now a monster, and it felt so good to become this. My third thought is that snakes look at the world in a weird way. I hear an odd chanting from outside, and sigh internally. I hear David Bowwi singing, and I cringe. I brace myself, for a song and dance number is coming.
+1 unrest
Introduction of the cult of bowwi.
The schedule follows as usual, but after a somber session of training for all with new rage in their hearts, and a new feeling, loss and grief, the agricultural specialists perform their first THE CRUSHING, as the corpses of the fallen are converted to pure component candy parts. A small sect of the agricultural specialists branch off into a group that have vowed to cut the snake as it has cut down the yummi, AND THUS THEY WILL KILL IT TWICE. They form L’ordre de vole bord, headed by a granny smith apple flavor yummi. Though she is quite green, she is devoted, and together with tuffy, who does his best to tolerate her silly way of pronouncing things, they start to craft with the candy.
FORMATION OF THE GRANNY APPLE SMITHS AND ARTISANS
-5 foragers.
+4 common smiths
+1 leader of the smiths
Meanwhile, the militant titan slayers, aka creampuff militia, invent CLOTHES, as they mourn their warriors, they pick from the fields the highest black licorice reeds and drape it over their bodies decoratively, through the chest and some forming the first HATS. These were just the closest to those that were lost, who have hardened and have even more vengeful spirits. It is assumed that these people will want to command the next charge, under dictator theor of course, who has beat up each and every one of them and thus has become close to all of them, and has of course made the best hat and vest.
FORMATION OF THE GUMMISSARS. LEADERS, meant to hold together the line nomatter how chewed up they are.
2 Gummissars, Charleston and and hubba bubba vich.
And thus, they hunt, to find anything in the plains to dominate to sharpen their skills. They plan to subjugate and take the traits of all under the plain, learn how they survive, and then do so better than all.
The hunt begins.
People: 32 alive, 2 dead.
Food: 99, 2 corpses turned to candy
Fire: dead.
Morning:
Invented religion.
Everyone trains fighting.
Noon:
Invented candy craft, classism, hats and vests, and a chain of command.
15 people train, the cream puffs.
10 forage.
5 work on turning food into weapons and protection against cutting.
Afternoon:
25 Hunt for food and new animals and capture them
And Find wood.
7 stay behind to watch farm and continue smithing.
Tuffy and jiffy basically bum around and try to out do eachother in making a better sharp weapon to penetrate scale while the 5 smiths actually do work and look at the farm.
evening: continue afternoon action.
Culture game - Page 2 Empty Re: Culture game
Post by BurdenKing Sun Jul 10, 2016 8:08 pm
Duardin
Bianca spent the day caring for the piglets, learning what foods they liked best, how well they could move in infancy, and a host of other things. She has noted that of the three, two are female and the third is a male.
The First female has a dark brown coloration of fur, but possesses a bright pink snout that pops from the more earthy toned fur, The Second female is pure white, with red eyes that unnerve the more easily put off Duardin. And the male is of a light gray ish brown Coloration, possessing faded brown fur with stripes of mocha along its side.
All three seem to have very limited pools of energy, moving around rapidly and playing for about an hour or two before napping somewhere warm and dry for roughly four hours after that. When they wake up, they immediately seek out food, and are quite irritable until fed. With Bianca's doting attention, the piglets are quickly beginning to associate her with food and care. It is unclear if they will see her as a mother or care taker as of yet though.
After a day of mining, carving, and working, the Duardin begin to carve out their new home in a most literal fashion. Seven large grooves in the wall were carved, large enough to house three duardin each. They are about 6 feet deep into the wall, and 7 feet wide with a height of 5 feet.
The logs gathered to act for support beams number in at two, but they are easily brought in and the Duardin begin to plan where to place them.
When night approaches, and the Duardin stand guard with their eternal, they are met with the site of the cloudless night sky and the pale moon glowing onto the swampy landscape that stretched as far as they could see. The night was peaceful and calm, and it was becoming safe to assume that maybe their home was well out of the way of the Sourjin due to having not seen them in many a moon.
However, one of the Duardin had seen lights in the distance. Near the coast, part way up a mountain, there was what could be seen as the light of fires shining. By the number, it meant a large group of people. But weather they were Duardin, Sourjin, or something else, it was unknown.
pop: 27-28
Food: 133-78 units
Bonfire: 0 - 1
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Yummi

To the Yummi whose eye was now that of the snakes, his vision was altered as time went on. His other eye adapted, and soon both eyes held the stilted reptilian pupils that had once been exclusive to his foreign replacement eye. He could now see the life energy within the Yummis and all candied life. They were like beings of smoky light, that varied in color from being to being. He could now always find creatures, weather they were hiding or behind objects. His site gave him an advantage no other hunter could, sight beyond sight.
With this sight, the Yummi was able to aide in the hunt. No creature could hide from his gaze, and with the new found anger and bloodlust within their fellow yummi, Hunting goes well.

They return with 60 units of food, 4 logs, 2 days of fire wood, as well as an unconscious creature they had managed to capture. It seemed to be a herbivore creature, with thin legs and a long neck that stood about 5 feet tall. From its design, it seems to be a sprinter that used it's long neck to watch out for danger.

The crushed corpses are made into candy bio. There was not enough to make food, but their materials were none the less made available and put to use. From the Materials, the Smiths are able to forge rudimentary weapon using them to augment preexisting ones. A solidified shard of hard candy now is placed on 20 different spears, its edge like volcanic glass but its durability slightly better. While water and heat could quickly make it deteriorate, the rock candy spear head is still a danger while intact.
(The Yummi have advanced in their military technology, and now have begun to form a circle of smiths to create far more effective weaponry)
In addition, through an accidental application and creation, a log was doused with the rest of the materials gathered from the body, preventing more spears from, being made. However, the Log was quickly made into a proper weapon, for the resident giant within the tribe. Charlston is now in the possession of a massive weapon, with candy blades jutting out all over one end that each are around 6 inches in length.

In addition, the farm is rapidly improved, with more plants planted and the guarding wall around it improved to keep people from trampling it. 2 food is retrieved from it.

Population: 32 - 32
Food: 99 -129
Fire: Dead - 2 days
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By spending a whole day working, Group #5 was able to make 3 structurally sound shelters that each can hold about 5 people. While this went on though, the odd man out left to try and improve the tools they had began to try and use what he could to fulfill the mission his Eternal assigned him. Through hard work, and a little bit of making a fool of him self, he has created a new weapon and tool.
He calls it the Jaka, and it is a sharp spike of rock sharpened thoroughly to where it can cut flesh easily, with a long length of pore. The design of the weapon is to swing the stone around with the poor, then throw it in a direction so either the tip pierces a target or the sharp edges lacerate it. He believes it can be used, with some modification, to help pull down tree if team use it to tie onto the higher trunk of the tree.
Group #4.5 continued focused tests of the grave potion on the stone critter, noting that the creature became far more active and faster when it was introduced to the liquid. Over time, the creature soon seemed to simply begin to grow more active as time went on, even without more grave potion. After a good amount of time, the creature died of exhaustion, the grave potion likely having over exerted the creatures body.
Group #4 On the other hand, managed to properly test the effects of fire on the two rocks. The yellow rock initially showed no activity in the flames. However, after a couple hours, it began to melt. In a panic, one of the group members put out the fire and watched the damage rock harden until it solidified. The orange parts of the rock seemed to have melted from the rock itself, and formed a shiny material.
As for the white stone chunk, when introduced to fire, it immediately began to crack and whine, until a loud screeching noises was let out. The noises was so loud, it echoed throughout all the forest, and deafened two of the nearest Dreadions who had been caught to quickly to cover their ears. Then, the white stone turned gray, and became silent. When the fire was put out and the white stone was examined, it crumpled to dust and blew away in the wind.
Group #1 scouted once more the north area, and gathered much more food this time now that the feelings of worry were subsiding from the tragedy that had occurred before. Over the day, they gather 40 Food, 5 days worth of fire wood, and 6 logs. The techniques and plans of the group are ever growing, and proving to be more effective each day.
However, during a shift change between group 2 and 2.5, a large creature matching the description given by Agares of the creature that attacked his group stood within sight of the edge of camp. Next to it, impaled on the branches of a tree, was the missing Dreadion corpse that the gatherers had thought it had taken to its den. The creature had stayed there for roughly 2 minutes, staring at the terrified dreadions, before turning back into the forest and disappearing
(not actual size)
The scouting party members noted that the location of the crucified corpse was in the same direction of the large tree they had reported about some time ago. Fear is beginning to spread rapidly throughout the tribe.
In addition, the sudden introduction of the 'Soul tail" as she is called by many in thr tribe, has begun to increase the fear. The Dreadions know so little, and so much of the unknown is revealing itself all at once. Panic is inevitable unless something is done.
Zadkeil heard the fears of the townsfolk and knew that only one action could be founded on this time.
he gathered his clan members around the fire pit to sit and listen to his words.
"Brothers, sisters, I hear your fears. I hear your fears for the future and your lives. with the reoccurrence of the beast that struck our brave siblings has reappeared as quickly as it disappeared again, there is no objection to the beasts goal, to hunt and yes, I have also heard your fears about the soul tail and while I understand them, there are things you should know before I continue. I have not been truthful about my wisdom that I use to conduct our clan. I, like everyone else, have been receiving premonitions from someone or something on how to progress further, I know that from your perspective that I have been lying which is true on one part but for reasons that are good. this being has been watching us through our eyes feeling our struggles and only wanting to help us as we would help our young walk their first steps. they were the one that gave me the idea to organize parties to gather, build and protect. they were the one that told me about using water reeds to make pore which we now all use to help us survive another day and yes, some ideas that the being has given have not been entirely successful but to all of us, it is a learning experience. as we let go at times to allow our young to take a few steps and fall to learn about balance this being has given us goal and space to complete them in."
Zadkeil stops to allow them to gather in the new information and grow accustomed to the reality that they are being  watched over.
"The being has told me to explain some facts, the beast that has reappear is a malicious one but it is not immortal. the being assures me that with something called 'TACTICS', we can overwhelm the beast. I've also been told that having more than one soul can be beneficial in the points on companionship and learning, the soul is a friend for the young to grow with as they are to be our 'future'."
stops to grab his staff-axe and starts to use its wooden tip to scratch the dirt and review their current predicament.
Group#1.G=1
Group#1.H=8
Group#1.L=2
Group#2=6
Group#2.5=2
Group#3=3
Group#4=4
Group#5=4
a total of 30 out of 30
"with how things are with the beast lurking near we must take measures to prepare. group 1's lumber party will help group 5 in the construction of a wooden spike wall by digging a hole and placing a quarter of a log into its base, due to our effectiveness of cutting we won't have to worry about the lumber splitting further because of its thickness and sturdiness. if a beam is at risk of falling over prop it up with big stones lying around to support it before hammering in the log. we will use all but one log to do this as we will use the last to fill the fire for the night. if you run out of wood and the light is still high then you can grab 2 guards to follow you as you cut wood from nearby only, I refuse anyone to enter deep into the forest while the beast lurks near."
"the night guard will combine with the day guard as their shift will be continuous as the defensive wall is built, this may seem hard but with the beast on the loose, we can't risk a surprise attack and having more lives taken away from us because a few were set for the night shift. the hunters will also be joining you as they will support you by healing with lotus and committing to attacking with leaf and then retreating and what I'm going to propose next is grim as am permitting the use of the grave potion against the beast. as you all know well this potion slowly rots a mammal till it ceases to exist. and when we first tested it, the dreadion also had leaf poison in them which speed up the decomposing procedure. this will hopefully end a most likely prolonged fight quickly. I will however not force you to use it as I know you are all afraid of its effects. I only wish for you to survive the fight if the beast chooses to fight."
"group 1's gathering team and group 4 will help whenever needed but I wish for them to study Soul tail's tail to grasp a broader understanding of the new soul for the sake and peace of the rest of the clan. this is all, everyone can go off to their assigned task but could the leader of group 5 come to speak to me?"
all the dreadian start to move out with their orders in mind and fears becoming stagnant as they prepare for the worst in the best way they have ever seen, with a leader with a calm approach, but back in their minds they knew that such things could easily be the workings of "The being" guiding them to either their doom or their survival. the leader of group 5 walks up to zadkeil to hear the eternal message.
"yes eternal, why have you called me out of the rest?"
"I have watched your progress struggling with the wooden tools and understand that the work is hard and long when searching one's mind for inspiration, hence I wish to reward you a name and title for your diligence."
The dreadion falls to his knees.
"I'm truly grateful my lord but do I truly deserve this, I Am just a humble craftsmen."
"that will be soon answered as you will be given a trial to complete with your name as all title holders go through termoil."
After finishing his sentence, Zadkeil erged the dreadian to follow suit as he lead the man to a hut which was nearly over flowing with smooth yet rough pelts.
"what are these?"
said group fives leader astounded by the discovery.
"I have never seen any pelts like these before, they are tough and sturdy like wood but are flexible like pore. "
"That is because its leather, It is the project I was working on for "The Being", they WHO guided me in the creation of the leather to make something to protect us but is light enough to wear."
"Wear?"
"That is your trial, the being has tasked you with the construction and design of something he refers to as "Armor" but you can call it as you wish if you are able to fit it to a dreadion. If you complete this then you shall be given your name and title as well as my appreciation and gratitude for this may save our brothers and sisters in combat and confrontations."
the dreadion stops to consider the challenge before him,  before turning to Zadkeil to give his response.
"I graciously accept this "Beings" challenge for the sake of my siblings."
replied the dreadion before picking a piece up to examine and ponder on his plans. having no more to be discussed with the dreadion, zadkeil decided to leave him to his business.
while walking through the village Zadkeil saw Agares the reckless talking to the guards and hunters, hoping to learn of their discussion zadkeil walked closer but not too close so that they noticed him.
Agares barks orders to both parties with a sense of impact that causes both groups to listen at attention to the once lead hunter and the current lead guardsmen.
"Four of the eight hunters that have joined us today will be sent out to be our early warning system in case the beast comes to attack. they will have the advantage of height to distance as for when one gains in height they also gain in range of sight as I have seen birds who flew away long before Ii lunged at them because the could see me from the height they were perch at. If any movement is found they will alert us by this." Agares starts to hand each of the four hunters hollowed-out horns, while I was out on my learning experience I came across a sound of strong storm winds even though the light was bright in the sky. following those sound I found  a bone pit which had these horns in them, I soon discovered that with a strong wind they can omit a sound loud enough to be heard great distance. you shall use this to warn us if the beast is coming our way. do not engage it by yourself but instead, retreat back to the village at the same time as warning us but you should be safe in the tree tops as the beast seems to be ill fit to climb trees and instead wanders and sleep on the ground. the rest will be guarding the members of our clan during this time, but if the beast does come I have some "TACTICS" that we can use."
Zadkeil stands in shock that Agares was able to use the word in and figure out a meaning for it but at the same time was proud for him doing so.
"when the warning signal is blown we will flood out into the direction of the beast just bearly talon tip in the forest. at this point we will us the nearly acquired Jakas to latch onto a tree and pull it over when the beast is under it, I have seen fanboars charge at weaker tree, knocking them over to reach the untouched fruit, at on instance a lizard was squashed from this, I don't believe it will kill the beast but it will most likely trap it, the guard will work in two four men groups to pull the trees over as 2 of the four remaining hunters cut it to make the job easier. the last two hunters will act as bait to lure the beast into the trap, if you feel like the beast is going in for the kill then you are obviously not brave enough to be a guard or a hunter. if or after the beast is trapped by the trees we will use our largest rock weighted pore nets to ensure it's entrapment. when it is entrapped we will proceed to kick its furry behind out of this realm. THIS is OUR job, THIS is OUR duty and be hell am I going to allow another dreadion be eaten by that beast before I take something precious from it. Now move out."
with that, the hunters and the guards prepare for the upcoming encounter.
Overview;
morning-to-night
lumberers and engineers besides group five's leader (who is constructing the leather garment) will construct defensive walls using stockpiled wood and only going out to get more lumber with the protection of two guard escorts.
four members of the hunting party set out with bone horns in hand to find a perching spot to keep an eye out.
guards will stay on alert in case the beast returns.
the scouting party would have discovered what was at the location of the [@#$%##@$^%] and will start to return home.
"Soultail" and group four will do a study on the new soul while also helping out with the other groups if needed.
Midnight-to-earlyMorning
guards and hunters will stay up later to ensure the beast doesn't commit a surprise attack while everyone else will sleep for the night.
Culture game - Page 2 Empty Turn Number: Man baby boars are adorable.
Post by Thebluemage Fri Jul 15, 2016 4:50 am
The moon above, pure and untarnished, made the Whitebeard feel truely at ease for the first time in memory. Always it had been one problem or another, but now...
Now they could begin to build, and dig deep into the earth. Who knows what boons await them there?
His revere of all they had accomplished was interrupted when one of the piglets hit him with her snout and ran off, the albino one many had taken to calling Frost, a suitable name, he supposed. It envoked the mountainpeaks, the mysterious ice caves two brave beardlings had vanished into.
One night he would investigate that.
The dark brown female would be...Hearth. Her brown reminds him of the color of the Hold from afar, and her cheerfulness was warmth for the soul.
The male would be Stone, as he would one day break the Duardin's foes with all their grudge-given strength, and it's progeny will forever shield them.
Speaking of which...they needed to further fortify there home, and find a way to leave it as little as possible. Right now, they had to leave every few days to forage for food, what if there was a way to bring the food to them...hm, he'll have some foragers bring back plants and put them in the ground, make them grow closer. Hm, made sense. He'd have four Duardin work on that tonight - the world was safer at night, as Mar wasn't watching and whispering to the sky.
The ten Stonebreakers and their leader, Wolfgarr, will continue their drilling. Their home will always be protected. He didn't know just how much training they needed, but by the Stone they would be ready for whatever the world was to throw at him.
Speaking of which, perhaps these Stonebreakers needed a new weapon? Morgrim would work to experiment with the initial design of the pick, see if he can take a stone and sharpen the edges into a weapon to better pierce Sourjin shell. It was definitely worth a try.
Finally, there was Bianca! Ah, between her loverboy and her three boars, she's been practically the busiest duardin in the Hold! But she's been loving her work, and has been inspired to keep it going, forming predictions of just how big the little piglets will get by looking at the adults of their kind and how large they already were. Her projections were...surprising, to say the least. Where would they keep these things?
After some continued thought, helped by letting a youngin' braid his beard, he decided to have twelve others as well as their two Gyoujin guests, Koilou and Jiahno, continue work within the tunnels, it was going wonderfully, but this was just the beginning now that they had an established home. They needed to reach deeper within the mountain, there was something...waiting within, he knew there had to be. Sadly he would not be joining them, as always he had to take the dangerous mission.
There were lights in the distance, and he would investigate. He was the eldest, and thus had to hold the most responsibility for the groups survival.
Morning:
>The Longbeard goes out to investigate the distant lights.
>12 Duardin and 2 Sourjin dig deeper into the mountains, looking for anything that stands out from the usual stone.
>Ten Stonebreakers and Wolfgarr continue to train their bodies for vicious combat.
>Bianca trains and takes care of the boar babies, those sweet little beasts. <3
>Morgrim works on making a very sharp pick using rocks to sharpen them. SCIENCE!
Noon:
Second verse, same as the first.
Afternoon:
Shit we're still doing this-oh wait no, four of the miners take a nap. Lazy braids and/or beards.
Night:
> Everyone but the four gatherers sleep, who go out to do exactly what that job title describes. They'll also bring back entire plants and berry bushes to plant them closer to the cave, or even inside the cave! Safe from Mar's glare.
> The Whitebeard returns, assuming he doesn't meet something terrible that tries to fight him golly gee wilikers beardman.
Early morning:
>The gatherers return. Oh boy, I wonder what they got. Food, maybe?
An all day festival for the dead.
To commemorate them this will be done every 700 days, called a roll, for we will always roll with ya, fallen yummi, a day for all dead ever. It will also involve lots of hot hugging. It will be like a combination day of the dead, valentine’s day, and birthday and baby shower, and thanksgiving.
4 food used to make 32 people. The remainder is used to smear on bowwi to make him more shiny.
With this doubling in population,
Morning:Party and interrogation
Noon:Party and a coup
Afternoon:Party and propaganda
Evening:Party and a duel
You awaken in a dark room with a single stream of light coming down directly on you. the room is already stuffy, the light is almost painfully hot and bright to you, and then comes a single yummi, one of those monsters who captured you. he has an ugly, mean looking mug, and seems desperate for you and your head. he approaches you closely. "please be my friend. nobody loves me.", says tuffy. THE WORSE THREAT THEY COULD THINK OF, SPENDING TIME WITH TUFFY. He has the face and body like that of david schwimmer.
a voice in the dark says, "this can end, as soon as you tell us, how you survive, you piece of RAISEN." Feminine and authoritative, with an edge of danger.
I stare into the darkness with hollow eyes, silent while I at Tuffy. I don’t move from my ground, and merely act as if I were I afraid of the voice.
"Oh, youre afraid. Dont worry. It gets better. I think. Maybe. Probably not. But we can be stuck here and writhe in social pain together." he lies on the floor and feels a thousand years of shame and loneliness next to the creature. Give it up for the eternal of the yummi.
I let out a grumble/whinny, before bending down to munch on some of the candy grass next to Tuffy.
"Yes
This is breaking your will. So cringe inducingly painful. Speak, you son of an icecream sandwitch."
 "Uh, bowwi, I don’t think this is working."
"Well what do you suggest that’s more painful than a minute with him?
“Nothing, so shut it, jiff pop"
continues bowwi, before theor punches him in the spine and walks towards the creature, and tries to hurt it bad.
"Nobody will hug you and you arent tasty."
EGAD
THE AUDACITY
THE WORST WORD ONE CAN SAY
BOWWI FAINTS FROM SHOCK WITH A WONDERFUL GASP, AN ACOLYTE HEARS, COMES IN, AND DRAGS HIM OUT AND PUTS HIM ON TOP OF THE PILE OF CANDY.
I do not appreciate theor getting so close, and attempt to donkey kick her, but can't due to its limited range of movement brought on by these bindings.
"Whoa. Whoa. Too far. Theor calm down. We aren’t monsters. We aren’t monsters."
"Let’s just be civilized and beat it with sticks."
"Fine, but I really don't think this will work.
And thus, they invented animal cruelty
And cooking.
they did both. after about an hour, I finally gave them some information. Through a series of gurgles and pained gasped in between the blows of the stick, I imparted this piece of wisdom
things die when you beat them with enough sticks.
It is tasty, but as a matter of principle theor refuses to admit it.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
LOLLIPOP. LOLLIPOP.
OH. LOLLI LOLLI LOLLI
LOLLIPOP. LOLLIPOP.
OH. LOLLI LOLLI LOLLI
LOLLIPOP. LOLLIPOP.
OH. LOLLI LOLLI LOLLI
LOLLIPOP (POP)
THIS CHANT BOOMS, FILLING THE CAMP WITH NOISE AMONG THE SOUND OF WAR FLUTES. THIS IS THE CHANT OF THE PEOPLE, AS THEY ERECT TORCHES, DIPPING INTO THE FLAME SO THIS DAY CAN LAST THROUGH THE NIGHT AND THEY CAN WITNESS THEIR BEUTY AND MOURNING UNTIL MORNING. THIS IS WHAT THEY CALL THEMSELVES, THE SACRED NAME IN THESE TIMES OF WAR. They dance and stomp and clap, adding to the melody of rage.
LOLLI TRANSLATES DIRECTLY INTO WAR OR WARLIKE
POP TRANSLATES TO PEOPLE OR CREATOR.
THEY ARE CALLING TO THEMSELVES, AND TO MUCH MORE.
And it will be the name of who leaves them, who reflects all of yummi kind, the purest of flavor.
A dark cloud has been forming over the yummi, metaphorically, filling them with dread and fear, and now literally. It chose this exact moment for a burst, as lightning strikes a meter away from the pile, forming a backdrop as bowwi awakens and leads the song as he is quite gifted in such things. The yummi prepare to go inside but feel paralyzed by the alluring voice of bowwi, and feel much relief as they get rained upon and don’t immediately die. SODA. HOLY SODA. OH THANK THE FLAVORS. THEIR CANDY IS STILL DELICIOUS AND THE DIVINE FLAME REFUSES TO DIE, BECAUSE THIS IS SUCH HOLY SODA(and because it was just a tiny drizzle.)
"Call your leader lollipop
Tell you why
Their kiss is sweeter than an apple pie
And when he does his shaky rockin' dance
Man, she hasn't got a chance."

Bowwi now has line after line of yummi dancing around him, with him leading.

I CALL HIM
Chants the camp
LOLLIPOP.
Chants ten people now lifting bowwi.
Charleston, strange gal yanko vicke, and jiffy flank theor, and they go, with Charleston leading in his deep booming voice,
“I CALL HER”
The rest join in, gesturing to theor, as she stands on top of the donut, the monument to her leadership and skill in deligating, striking an imposing figure and casting a literal shadow on bowwi, and she starts posing, which truly resonated with the yummi.
“Lollipop lollipop
Oh lolli lolli lolli
Lollipop lollipop.”
And now jiffy walks towards bowwi, and sings at him aggressively in his nasal voice.
“Sweeter than candy on a stick
Huckleberry, chimry or lime."
The next line is directed to more the crowd of yummi yet to decide on who will lead them and which sweety to hug the hardest.
“If you had a choice
she'd be your pick
But lollipop is mine!”
Making theor blush. He then slaps down bowwi, hard, he gets slammed to the ground, and the whole camp gasps as the idol is struck. He clenches his fists and gets ready to attack back, but due to social convention, hitting a hero who lost an arm but is otherwise a jerk that is sorta smart, he stops himself and just grins, laughs, and gets up to start singing praise to theor. They all fell for it, but gummissar hubba bubba viche can see the burning hot hate in his chest. She knew it better than all, yet she sings along.
LOLLIPOP.
LOLLIPOP.

And hours pass, the yummi recognize that their leader is theor, and this is unquestioned, especially so after she decrees, “there is plenty of food for everyone, so everyone, hug as much as you like! Find someone who likes you and that you like and hug!”
She is a true leader, expert in using fear, hatred, and now lust and food to motivate people. It will take much to bring her down, and people are already scheming in this game of hats, where she has the biggest hat. This will probably be an important thing, and hats will mean leadership eventually.
But where is jiffy? She goes to look for him, and, egad, he was rolling in the hay with tuffy again, playing cotton candy and carrions! She thought, she thought he would stop nerding out with him due to her not saying anything and just thinking bad things about tuffy, it seems he can’t read her mind, that bastard!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tensions were high as the party moved into the donut at night, everyone has had a little too much sugar and it was getting to their head. Theor was glaring at tuffy, simmering in hatred and disgust, while tuffy stared back, scared and confused and just standing there. She then approaches him, slaps him across the face with the stick with jiffy’s hand on it, and “I challenge you to a duel, meaning I will hit you a lot until I am satisfied and this is legal and ethical because I don’t like you!”, she says, the yummi gasp, but then look enthralled, and are perfectly fine with this. They form a circle around them, and throw starch at them in fervor, guffawing and gawking as they circle each other, theor’s fists up in a defensive boxing stance and tuffy’s palms up with surrender. “I, I really don wana fite ma’am. Please don hit me har-“, tuffy then shuts the fuck up with a punch to the jaw, fixing his teeth. “OW that hurts wait I can speak without sounding stupid. Thankyou the-“, she punches out his teeth. All of them. At once.  He goes down to the floor and tries to pick them up and put them back into his mouth. He succeeds. “come on, put them up put them up. My hands still look like hands. I’ll stop when they’re stubs.”, she says, before picking him up and punching him again, right to the face, over and over again, each hit to a different area and denting it like memory foam that won’t quite go back to flat. She finishes the punishment with a brutal punch to the chest, knocking him back several feet.
He tries to go back and pick up shards of his face and put them back on, only to be answered with a kick to the face. “get up, you piece of raisen. Get up and punch me back so I can reverse it.” He tries to get up and do as she says, just to be a good sport, and she grabs his arm, breaks it at the elbow, snaps the fore arm, fixes it by snapping it right with a sickening crunch, and snaps the arm out of the socket with a terrible crackle before sweeping him off his feet by kicking behind his leg, throwing him onto the ground, and elbowing his nose. He syrups from his nose, and she mounts him, wiping away the syrup with punches to the face, he was now handsome, looking like dave franco, alternating between this and david schwimmer after each punch, handsome, ugly, handsome, ugly, franco, schwimmer, franco, schwimmer, over and over again into the night, before falling on franco, and her leaning down and glaring into his eyes, his breathing is shallow, and he is smiling as he is now, finally sexy, and he knows it. She kisses him, viciously, claiming him as her sour. “I feel so much hatred for you right now you sweety stealing nerd.”, he then hugs her, hating her equally. This hug is now a sour or bitter patch, sour due to the bad blood, sweat, saliva, words, looks, moods, and pheromones spread here, the droop to pick this up will have a wonderful time sniffing something new in the patches.
