Alright guys, let's tap into that the huss of lips acadamy thread already.

For the first thread, it'll be open to everyone so we can get people situated. We need to decide on a few things as well.

First off, what would our characters be doing?

second, if it's in a classroom or a class activity, which teacher is in charge?

Third, which senpais will be present?

Fourth, who gets to play these canons?

I vote for a nice academic focused class, so one of those kinds of teachers instead of one of the physical or shop teachers.

So BK asked me to do the posting thing. So I'm doing it. Right now. As you can tell. Since you're reading this. Anyways, I'm okay with the academic class and agree with BK on what he said. In the skype chat, however, he made me think about an idea, whether is it gonna be normal (HEH) anime highschool or highschool with magic shit. There was also some talk about making this into Hogwarts Homestuck Academy but that is a story for another time. So I vote for the magical/mecha highschool anime thingie.

Would we want to actually use thes emagical mecha? if so, I imagine Zahhak Sensei would be required to be present for the technical things and the fighting portion of the mech combat XD

I'd personally recommend, though take this with a grain of salt because I'm not sure how interested I am in being in this one, that all the canon characters exist in some form, whether it be as other teachers or faculty or parents or students or whatever, but that they only get mentioned when it's relevant. Everyone might know that Karkat Vantas is the principal, for example, but since the students might not interact with the principal on a daily basis, there's little reason to have his character fleshed out much, or used. Unless, of course, someone sought him out for a conversation, and then he would rapidly gain character traits as he was interacted with.

I'd be happy to play any of the canons or background characters if nobody else wants to play them. I'm not sure I'd want to play a student or main character, though.

ah alrighty then. We can likely just limit it to maybe two canons. A teacher and a sempai as that would likely what would be around to help first year students with this sort of assignment.
