Meaning: Indirectly useful, "soul" of the group (metaphorically - usually so abstract that particularly rigid thinkers can be a great detriment.)

Role: One who utilizes the potential of [X]. Active.

What personality gets this class:

Those with a high sense of individuality are often Souls, usually carrying with them their own sense of flair - or, in some cases, lacking just that flair. In the case of those attempting to gain their flair back, they are often rigid-thinkers and utilitarian.

Main Power Type:

The Soul is a somewhat complicated class, as the ability to utilize potential could put it at nearly unlimited power - so much as to be game-breaking, so to speak. Due to this three rules have been placed upon the Soul class.

Rule One: What they wish to do must correspond with a corepart of their aspect (Breath: Air, Freedom, Movemen., Life: Health, Regeneration, Youth. Etc.).

Rule Two: A Soul's abilities cannot directly affect them or anyone else. This doesn't mean a Soul of Breath cannot create a ball of razor-sharp wind and then throw it at an enemy, though! The creation did not directly affect an enemy, but it was applied creatively to gain the desired effect.

Rule Three: Number three is the most limiting - the very first time you use an ability of your aspect, the core of what you just did becomes the only thing you can do. That ball of wind the Soul of Breath made has just limited him to being able to create objects - while a Soul of Life who created a flower that exuded a healing aura would be stuck with creating aura-generating items!

This can be tricky to figure out, but that is really part of the fun.

Story Role:

Depending on the aspect, the Soul can play a defensive and offensive role, though the initial learning curve of working around their limitations can leave them useless to the group early-on.

Challenge:

A Soul player must learn to focus and/or expand their creativity.
