Racial Name: Scarl
Nick Names: Rats, Vermin, Scavs.
Genders?: Yes
Average Life span: 50 (Majority of deaths are unnatural, can natural span of 70)

General Appearance: Scarl commonly have a short coat of fur of browns blacks and greys, more unusual colours like red or gold aren't uncommon and on occasion albino's are born. Their teeth are always sharp and their eyes have a sly look in colours of greens, yellows, browns and on occasion red and blue. Most Scarl have some kind of tail, either a short and stubby one or a long one. Their tails are never particularly dexterous and mostly used to maintain balance. It is common Scarl practice to look intimidating or sly, anyone who doesn't look like they can fight or trick their way forward doesn't last long so even weak Scarl work hard to look rough. Clothing is made of whatever can be scrounged up so Scarl dress to be practical and even those concious about their appearance have to do so with artistic flare more than good tailoring. (Think Fallout raiders in appearance.)


Common Personality: Scarl have developed a punkish and anarchic nature resulting in commonly rough and vulgar personalities and little to no sense of censorship. They don't have problems with vices and consider subjects of violent, sexual and intoxicating natures perfectly acceptable. (Again, think Fallout raiders.)

Society: Scarl society is pretty much non existent, their once masterful industry was brought down by a combination of natural disaster and anarchy. The first slip up was when their elevated cities and mining operations became too much for their planets crust to handle and the supports began to collapse through to the caverns below. The first collapse brought about quakes that dropped their vast network of interconnected cities like dominoes. With all their technology in ruins the survivors didn't know how to survive without it and resorted to hoarding what had remained operational after the fall. This hoarding nature began to grow into conflict and stealing until the Scarl were nothing more than raiders and scavengers stealing whatever they could find of use amongst the wreckage that now covered the world. With so much tech simpler things like computers could be found often enough to rebuilt or discover operational models but their superior tech is all but lost and can guarantee both followers and enemies. Scarl usually band together into groups of ten individuals that consider one another useful enough to keep around without being out of their league, as such no real society can be formed.
Home Planet: Specus is mostly dry dirt and weedy plant life, at one point it'd been covered in metallic platforms a mile above the dusty earth its inhabitants only coming down to collect dirt for their greenhouse plantations or to mine for more ores and fossil fuels. Now that those platforms and the industrial cities they supported have fallen into wreckage over every inch of the planet the whole world is a scrap heap on both the surface and in chasms and caverns that the wreckage collapsed into.
Relationships: Scarl relations are based on how useful they consider one another to be and little else ever ties them together as such their relationships are based on their equality. Relationships are represented as follows.
Sword - Swords are considered physically equals.
Wand - Wands are considered intellectual equals.
Coin - Coins are considered equally cunning.
Cup - Cups are considered intimately equal.
Reproduction Scarl reproduction is not often intentional and sexual interest can be the pure reason for some members of a pack to be kept around, its just acceptable to keep a female or male (Depending on the packs gender majority) thats good in bed for that sole purpose. Scarl don't have a real sense of monogamy and often sleep with whoever they find attractive or fun company. In the past they use to form couples but that practice is rare now.
Guardians: Since it can be hard to tell who is the father of a litter the newborns are raised by the whole pack in their first years before being taken to one of the warrens. Until they reach adulthood they remain in these havens for children before scattering.
Symbol Rules: Alchemical symbols, primarily those referring to metals or substances.


Naming Conventions: A Scarl's first name is usually one or two sharp syllables, last names are usually longer and awkward amalgamations of two words that best describe the Scarl.
Racial powers: Scarl have a natural inclination of how things work and how to use them, they also understand how to make repairs with the simplest materials and are incredibly resourceful. They do not develop psychic powers but can eventually develop a kind of communal empowerment letting them combine or even borrow powers from a member of their pack.
Attributes: Scarl are quick and sure footed as well as good at fitting through small gaps without effort.
Traits: Scarl always have sharp teeth and short fur coats. Their clothing is always at least a little torn up.
IM System: Connex, one of the ten internet sites still operational.
Typing rules: Their typing is full of abbreviated terms.

Everything looks great! This is ready for approval but I noticed a little half finished sentence under racial powers: "They do not develop psychic powers but can eventually develop" so I will hold off for now.

How do they borrow powers if they don't get powers in the first place? Not every race needs a power, humans don't have powers, I made my elves get purposely shitty useless powers.

I mean such as aspects. Say a time and space player consider one another pack mates, they'd be able to act in combination to cause a combination of their aspects such as effecting the continuum. Obviously this is something they only develop at high level and can only be performed with close packmates.

Why would they have the racial ability to use each others god tier powers, that doesn't make any sense to be a thing they evolved to do. Especially since we still don't even understand how skaia bestows these powers in the first place. Nothing in your races biology should have any connection to skaia. Other than like, for example trolls get wings when they god tier. You already gave them technology powers anyway so its not like they have no powers.

Alright, just scrap that part of their abilities completely. Their god tier could well include a mech suit type of outfit built in the manner of the usual clothing.

Hey! I've been reading your conversation about powers and abilities and it gave me a slight idea... Why not make the especially communal? Able to work incredibly well with those they find worthy? So instead of sharing god tier abilities, they are exceptional at combining attack/abilities... So for an example  time and space heros could combine their attack to create a small work whole to a set time and place... Or a flesh and blood team could obliterate an entire army. Etc etc.  

But by themselves they would have poor abilities to make it balanced.

Not independently, using them together. The point is that Scarl don't generally get on with one another and if they can overcome that and form their bonds it creates a connection that lets them unify powers.
